I'm working on more pages in my latest altered book. You can see the backgrounds I created here and here. Also, here are the first set of pages I created (Pages 1 through 8). Pages 9 through 16 can be found here. I'm also joining Aimeslee, our host this month at Art Journal Journey and her Anything Goes theme.
Pages 17 and 18 are next. Another postage stamp sent to me by Sami is on page 17. The rose embellishment is part of a strap from one of my discarded bras. Nothing goes to waste here. I cut the cat and its Purrrrrrrrr from the page of rub-ons that no longer rub.
Page 19 is one of the cats that Elle sent me. When dry, most of the offensive ink was gone. To the sandstone background, I added black and white washi tape and the word "catnap." Page 20 starts a new series of paint chips and backgrounds. The fish stencil was part of a set sent to me by my friend Chris. The kitty was part of the set sent to me by Erika.
I'm having a terrible time with my scanner talking to my computer. PhotoShop wants to shut down every time I attempt a scan. I hope to have more tomorrow. Bleubeard and I are delighted you stopped by and would love to see you at Art Journal Journey with your interpretation of Anything Goes, too.

sorry to see you are having more problems with tech! thanks for taking the time to visit Kew with me yesterday. the urns were only emptied this week, but it was time for the contents to go, they were past their best and didn't look good.
Sigh on the tech front. It does our heads in doesn't it? I was really pleased that you could visit and comment today. Long may that last - and I love your work.
Your book is perfect, Elizabeth!
...and I don't know how to scan!
This is going to be a great keepsake once you finish it. I love all the kitties. My favorite the yellow purring one. And the black hounds tooth tape looks great with that sleeping kitty postage stamp too. I stopped by the cat and have a question. Have a super Sunday. hugs-Erika
Sorry you seem to find a new technology challenge around every corner! Good luck working out this one — so that you can concentrate on cats.
best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com

Good work on your cat book. What a terrific hobby.
Good morning, I like your KItty pages-hugs Happy Sunday
Kathy
Sorry for the scanner issues.
Nice cat pages, though. :)
PAWSUM pages Elizabeth, as we like to say, 984 PAWZ UP ♥♥
and wavez two ewe bleu and squiggles ~~~
=^..^=
Beautiful pages!
These are so fun, dear Elizabeth, and you are getting quite a few pages done in this journal/book. Yay! I hate scanner issues or any computer issues, actually. 3 days ago, my internet suddenly began timing out for seconds at a time, enough to knock me off videos and other streaming. Ugh! xoxo
What a fabulous idea for a cat book! I'll bet it's Squiggles and Bleubeard approved, too.
