It's once again time to join Friday Smiles, hosted by Annie (at A Stitch in Time). Let's
visit Annie and the other wonderful ladies who also share their smiles
each Friday. Today I'm taking you out and about.
Those of you who visit on Tuesday know once a month for a year, I receive a free lb. of coffee as a result of my contribution to PBS (Public Broadcasting Station). PBS has no advertising and the station, as well as all the shows are purchased with contributions by viewers like me.
Since T Stands For Tuesday requires a drink reference, after scouring all the photos I took, it appears there isn't a mug, cup, or coffee bean in sight.
That's when I decided to share these images with you lovely ladies at Friday Smiles. I know Kate likes to bake and preserve various fruit.
Although there are prepared bags of spices and herbs, they also have herbs and spices in the jars against the wall. They weigh them there and I will show that next time. There are more jars to the left of the scales out of camera range.
Now for a few funnies. Please tell me when you get tired of Metzger's animal humor.
I will end on this note. I know this is exactly how both the fur babies see themselves.
Thanks for dropping by today. Enjoy your weekend. PLEASE visit Annie and don't forget to start your weekend with a smile.

Its funny that most humans don't know what goes on in the cats mind. Very entertaining post.
Nice cat funnies! Happy Friday ! Hugs, Valerie
That looks like a ver interesting shop, we don't have anything like it. Most of the herbs and spices are bought at the supermarket here. The cat funnies are brilliant. You must have been very busy finding all those. Have a really lovely weekend and stay warm. Hugs, Angela xXx
All those spice jars etc look so good. (I read an articlelast week that said the testing kitchens, the dirtiest items found were the spice jars because we use them and put them straight away.) Made me think maybe I should clean my spice drawer! I like the idea of buying them loose. I did that in Covent garden market last year when visiting my son because I found some that they don't seem to have over here.
The animal memes make me smile. Kate x
We have a similar store called The Spice Merchants, where I was just browsing one day this week — they sell only spice and tea, I think. Their prices are higher than the other local bulk-spice shop (which also sells many bulk foods like flour, teas, coffees, beans, dried fruits, and candy) — but it’s fun to look. Your photos are very enjoyable.

Sorry I had missed Mr Linky...to be honest you were lucky I posted at all!!.
Love your funnies.
Hugs,
Annie x
That's a lovely shop. I always 'drool and dribble' when you show this store. I could spend a day in there.
The cat funnies got me laughing. I can just imagine.
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca
These are funny. The bad breath dog one is what we have to say to Maddie and Pete all the time. And nice visit to the spice market. That looks like quite the store and I’m glad it’s not here as I might spend too much money there otherwise. Smile. Have a nice St Patrick’s day and Friday too. Hugs Erika
I wish my spices were so organized as this place. Thanks for the laughs.
Love the cat funnies! :)
Yes, to shops like that! I got some spices at the Christmas market and must find time to properly store and use them!
I never ever thought I would write such words. But when I lost my job and went into not only your art but also cooking/baking, I fall for that (let us not mention fancy drinks ;-)...)
I thank you so much for your support and motivation!
LOL, we always only share documents in meetings.
Oh, Ingo would have no problems at all to read "The Scratching Post"!
He started as a TV technician and was used to read in reverse.
And "Yesterday", very good one.
Oh, do I really want (a) cat(s)?
Those cats for sure had me smiling
I would love to visit this spice shop, would be so much fun to explore what they have.
Happy weekend
All my herbs and spices are so _old_... I know I should replace the oldest ones, but it's hard to just throw them out.
Please never run out of cat cartoons! And that spice market looks fabulous!
LOL
Good cat funnies :)
All the best Jan
My turn to play catch up after losing Internet last week. I would love a trip to that spice shop. I bet it smells so good while wandering around. Fun smiles.
