Homage to snowflakes and a few words about Volodymyr Zelenskyy

 

 I am so glad that Zelenskyy has made it back home safely.

   Do you remember this image I showed last week?  How happy and relaxed both men looked!  Look at their body language.  They are leaning into each other and both look like they are enjoying their time together.

You would think they would have had so very much in common, since Zelenskyy was originally a Ukrainian TV comedian and Trump was originally an American reality show host.  Both found themselves elected presidents of their respective countries.  However, Trump, originally in a phone call to Zelenskyy, ordered U.S. military aid to Ukraine was to be suspended until Zelenskyy investigated Joe Biden. 

  It's easy to see how different the meetings were by Zelenskyy's look on his face.  It's obvious how their meeting was going, even though Zelenskyy joked that it was better than a phone call. (Photograph: Jonathan Ernst/Reuters)

This is Bleubeard's and my final entry for Jo's Snowy Winter theme at Art Journal Journey.

The deer can see the snowflakes as they fall to the ground.

 

I cut this card I found in my stash down to size.  I sewed it to a white cardstock background using variegated thread.  I computer generated the words and sewed them to the top of the card.

Bleubeard and I have really enjoyed Jo's theme and we are grateful to her for not just hosting, but also creating some incredible journal pages for us to ohh and ahh over.  Thank you for your wonderful art and hosting skills, Jo.  BTW, each of you still have a few hours to share your own interpretation of Snowy Winter at Art Journal Journey.
