My Friday Favorites: FFO and Smiles

I have NO idea what I did, but I now have this grid everywhere.  It is not just on blogs, but on every page, including e-mail and videos.  Until I figure out what I did wrong, these grids will be on every photo. It's a keyboard issue and not a blogger issue.

Today I'm sharing my two Friday blog hops, Friday Face Off and Friday Smiles.  I'm still having trouble with "Failed to Publish," but I still visited every person at Friday Face Off.  Sadly, about 1/4 of the participants didn't visit me.  At least two blogs, Fundy Blue and Linda never published, even though I tried for three days in a row.

The even bigger problem was, my body was so wracked with pain last Friday (and I still have pain), I didn't visit a single lady who shares Friday Smiles with me.  The sad thing is, I have been joining Friday Smiles for at least eight years and I had to forego those visits due to the pain in my body.  BTW, EVERY Friday Smiles participant visited me!!  For that I am more than grateful.

This week, if you visit me from FFO, I will visit back.  But I am through visiting people who never visit me (and I suspect you know who you are).

This will be my final entry showing the Autumn and Art Fair.  If you missed them, the first post is here and the second is here.

I really loved the colors of this beautiful glass.

My play date friend Sharon would love these.

More glass.  I have never been drawn to glass before but I was most impressed by both these vendors.

From glass to ceramics.  I loved the guy's tee.  Sorry I forgot to smudge his face.

This was a very busy booth.

I loved this painting that reminded me of my copper pots.

The busiest booth at the art fair was this one that included dictionary art.  I decided to return on my way back to the car.  Note the various faces.

As it turned out, I didn't see a single other booth that interested me.

I admit I got a little carried away thinking about my friend CJ who LOVES socks.  If I'd had an extra $20.00, I would have bought her a pair.

I'm fairly certain you will find at least one face in the group.  I see Nicole zoning in on the skeleton.  My favorite was RBG or maybe the donkey in its cap and gown that just received its diploma.

Thanks for dropping by tonight (and tomorrow).  Please join Bleubeard and me at Friday Face Off and Friday Smiles.

That fair looks BRILLIANT. I would spend hours there given half a chance.
BTW - there are no grids to be seen on my screen so, unless you have fixed it, it is just on your PC. I am sorry about your pain and hope it is easing.

I don't see any grids, so either you got it turned off or it is something doesn't come through the internet. And sorry to hear about your pain. Wow, that is sure a lot of fun socks. I'm not sure I see any that excite me, but I did like those dictionary page paintings. They remind me of the Native American paintings that were done on old printed papers. Although the images don't. I hope you have a great start to your weekend and a good Friday. And I know what you mean about commenting on blogs where the owner can't be bothered to visit you. hugs-Erika

I don't see the grids, either?
I am drawn to pottery--always--for some reason. But the dictionary art is unique so I can see why it was a busy place full on spectators. :)

No grids for me, either. It must have to do with your screen because the photos are fine. I'm sorry you aren't feeling well or haven't been. I hope that's a thing of the past. And I get it about visiting and never having a comment from that person. There are a couple of people with whom I do that just because I really like what they post but I wish they would stop by. The art fair really looks fun.

I once saw the letter "K" on my left monitor.
I drove my colleagues nuts cause... turned out it was a pixel failure, LOL, only I could see that!
Hope your monitor is OK by now.
Sorry you are in pain - hope you get better soon, hugs!

Oh such beautiful glass - I would have to admire from far away. I think Germany is far enough!
And wearable art, dangerous! ;-)
Kermit, and the sunflowers! Oh, and Tesla-socks, soooo cool. Hope they never come here!
Have a happy Friday, dear, and just don´t get mad about some not visiting. Maybe they have the same problem you have.
If that occures I try to find e-mail, if that fails... I once asked a fellow blogger, that helped :-)

So sorry to hear that you have been suffering with pain. I hope you’ll feel better soon. Your art fair looks good, especially the glass. I have a friend who always buys a lot of art at the art fair, so her house is interesting. we usually only buy one item each year, but even that adds up to a lot of stuff!

best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com

Those socks are great! (Albeit expensive), I think I'd get bee-socks for my friend to go with her bee dungarees.
The art fair is wonderful. I also love that blue glass. And the greenish ceramics. I bet the guy doesn't mind showing his face as it is advertising after all.
The grid you are seeing must be very annoying but it is not visible here. It must be just on your computer.
Have a great weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca

I dont' see grids at all. I suspect it is only on your computer. I know that some monitors (for example ASUS brand) have something in the monitor menu that turns a grid on.

I always love to look at glass and ceramic art. I have bought very few pieces though.

The Elton John socks were one of my favorites.

No grid. The blue glass is so pretty and you had me at the cat in the top hat dictionary page.

I am so sorry you were in so much oain last week. I hope it is a bit more bearable now.
I love all the coloured glass you saw, and prefer it to the ceramics.
It is probably a good thing you were not buying socks. There were so many to choose from. I'd never be able to decide.
It is sad when people don't respond to your comments. That is partly why I rarely post in my craft blog except for my regular monthly Christmas challenge, because I simply did not have the energy or time to comment on other people's post and that didn't seem fair.
At any rate I enjoy reading your posts and always try to comment, and it is nice when you can visit me too, but don't feel bad when you can't manage it. I know you will when you can. Kate x

I don't see any grids? I love all those socks though - wow! I know what you mean about people not visiting, I get the same thing with some of the T posters, a few have never visited me ever, not once, so I had to stop visiting them. I hope whatever is causing you pain gets better soon. Have a lovely weekend! xx

Hi. The grid is only what you see. I can't remember what PC you have or browser. Let me know and I can help you get rid of grid settings. It's easy. The fair is an outstanding one. So many top quality art pieces. Email me about the grid.

Oh and thank you for joining FFO with all of the faces from the fair. Hope you are feeling better. Thank you for joining FFO and have a nice day.

Hi Elizabeth, I understand your feelings about people who you visit and leave comments but they never return the gesture. My blog almost didn't go anywhere to begin with as I spent time visiting others blogs and got nothing in return then someone told me about WOYWW and I started to build up some good blog friends. Oh my! I am so in love with those art socks, never seen them before and they are a brilliant idea. Take care and try to get plenty of rest. Hugs, Angela xXx

I don't see the grids...

The fair has some pieces that would definitely tempt me. I'd love to see them in person, though I'd only be window shopping.

I'm sorry you've been having such pain :(

All the best Jan
