Some of you were here on Friday when I shared these photos of Ian McNeice and Victor Hogstrom, President and CEO of PBS Kansas.
Per my weekly newsletter:
PBS Kansas Channel 8 hosted an afternoon with Ian McNeice, the English actor who plays Bert Large on Doc Martin. President & CEO Victor Hogstrom lead off the questions, then Mr. McNeice took questions from the audience. Our guests enjoyed light refreshments and were treated to hot tea from The Spice Merchant. Finally, Mr. McNeice took photos and autographed everyone’s tea cups!
Bob and Sue Boewe, owners of The Spice Merchant, who provided the tea and paid for the event.
He shared many stories, including when he played Albert Fezziwig, the kind and generous first boss of Ebenezer Scrooge (in A Christmas Carol).
It's time for you to share your own drink related post. It can be gifts you received, photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, mail art, junk mail, catalogs, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, handmade cards, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, a favorite mug, cup and saucer, teapot, coffee pot, or even a wine glass. Regardless, please join us by linking below. Bleubeard and I will gladly visit, as will other T participants. Please link only your T post and not your blog in general. Bleubeard would like to remind you that old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year. Please remember to visit your fellow T participants.
I would be remiss if I didn't remind you it is time to dig up your Second on the 2nd. Any story you choose as long as it HAS BEEN published in the past.
I couldn't get the preview to load, so I have NO idea if the linky shows and I made any errors.
Now I can't get blogger to load. Not sure why this is happening.

You got some lovely gifts for Christmas, Elizabeth. The cards are gorgeous! I love that Santa washi tape - I think Santa looks more like a gnome, really cute. You will love your Posca pen I'm sure - I know that I love the two I own. Thank you for hosting T Tuesday the entire year of 2022, I look forward to more drinks in 2023. All the best for the new year, my friend.
Lovely gifts
Your blog took FOREVER to load! I tried several times, on both Chrome and Safari. I’m afraid there may be something wrong.
Thanks for hosting: I finally managed to link.

Your visit at your local PBS and getting to meet Ian NcNeice sounds like a holiday highlight, seeing the cold and loss of power didn't probably give you a very merry holiday. I'm glad my card arrived. And that is a great packet from Mia. I can't wait to see what you do with the lace. And that's a fabulous ornament from Ro. And that was sweet of Mia to include those rocking horse buttons. Your holiday gifts were certainly another highlight of your Christmas. I hope you have a wonderful end to 2022, and that it warms up very soon. hugs-Erika
Such a nice event. Ohhh you got some absolutely wonderful gifts. I have to agree with Mae about the loading of your blog. I also had to change browsers and it took forever to even show your blog address. I am glad it finally came up though. Have a very nice day.
Beautiful cards and gifts Elizabeth, the newest rocking horse is very special. Thank you for hosting T hugs Kathy
Gorgeous cards and gifts - from special people to a special person.
Wonderful gifts and cards - enjoy. Happy T Day!
Some beautiful gifts indeed, Elizabeth. Happy day after Boxing Day (also a public holiday in the UK when Christmas falls on a weekend)
The PBS visit must have been so fun. What an assortment of lovely cards and gifts you received. Happy T Day
Looks like you had fun at the PBS gala. What a lovely assortment of cards and gifts you received. Happy T Day
Ian McNeice and Victor Hogstrom.. I am not sure now. Have I seen them but on your blog or really somewhere on TV?
This sounds all soooo good, all the pressies, the cards, the tea (we have that here, too), especially the rocking horse!
"You" are on the news again with the bad weather. Hope all is well in your place...
Now that we see more of the event, it looks like even more fun!
Great mail and presents. You are very loved and very blessed.

Just want to say congrats for all your spotlight entries at TIOT. I'm glad to see you made it there so many times. Hope you've warmed up. hugs-Erika
I got busy last night and forgot to link my post, however Kathy and Erica found me , anyway! Our family arrived about seven last night, and I forgot everything but them. They were cold and we had soup ready for them. They had driven over 15 hours!
I enjoyed your sharing of your wonderful time with Ian at PBS, and your lovely gifts! I love the Zentangleing , blanket, that rocking horse, and oh, so many other goodies! What a great time of opening gifts you had! It is too funny that we sent Mia her own ATC back! But, remembering that day, I can see how it happened! Fun! Makes me laugh even now. Stay warm, Elizabeth! I think it is going to warm up tomorrow. Happy T Day!

I'm sorry I'm late. I thought it was Monday today! Silly, I know...
Another apology that I won't be able to participate in Second on the second. I'm not at home so I have no access to my old blogposts.
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,

Hi Elizabeth, you got some wonderful cards and presents, enjoy! Hope your weather is getting better. I don't know if I can join in 2nd on the 2nd this time, I have to see how it is in the clinic! Happy New Year, health and happiness!
All your gifts are beautiful and you certainly deserve them. The golden rocky horse is gorgeous.
As for my little gifts for you, I am glad that you like them. Enjoy, my friend. I send you a big big hug!!!
Like others I had a hard time pulling up the site too.🤔 I can't believe the card wasn't returned either. Someone was being kind which I ❤️. Hope you're staying warm, and yay to the gifts and cards Glad 😊 you like the rocking horse. Hugs RO 🤗
You received some lovely gifts for Christmas, Elizabeth. I especially liked the cards. Now you will have so many wonderful goodies to play with and make art.
Happy Belated Tea Day,
Kate
Oh your gifts are all so nice! I enjoyed looking!
Cool Waterford horse!
I'm L A T E !!!!!!!
First of all, I adore all your Christmas ARt! It's perfect. And second, I would have all but killed to attend this event. I love Ian MacNeice! I adore him on Doc Martin -- but I didn't realize till I found a program from seeing "The King's Speech" on stage in London in 2012 that I saw him as Winston Churchill! I remember the performance but wasn't familiar with him as an actor at that time. He's had quite the career but Bert is iconic! Thanks for this!
