I'd like to begin by wishing one of our (now occasional) T Tuesday participants, our friend Kathy, a very happy birthday. I hope you do the same.
I am the recipient of a postcard from World Postcard Day. I should have shown this last week when I showed all the other gifts I received, but I forgot all about it after I took it to my craft room and carefully removed the postage stamps she used on the postcard. Sorry, Lisca. You and everyone else will have to wait to see which ones she sent me.
I hope you can read what my friend in Scotland, Elle of Empire of the Cat fame, wrote on the postcard. I am LOVING that cat stamp she used.
You might be able to tell the left side got bent as did the bottom right corner. The cat has lost much of its fur in the neck area, too! Regardless, I love it Elle and am sorry I forgot to show it last week. Thank you so very much.
Of course, I also need to show a drink or drink vessel. Even though you saw my autumn mug in the first photo, I'm actually headed to the craft room where I use my grungy mug with a lid. Yes, I clean it. In fact, I have cleaned it so much, I have scrubbed several of the letters off the image. And in case you didn't know Wichita State's mascot is a shock of wheat! BTW, I take this with me everywhere I go and have since I purchased it in 1991.
Now it's time to share your own drink related post, please. It can be
gifts you received, photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, mail
art, junk mail, catalogs, books, sketches, mixed
media, drawings, paintings, handmade cards, tags, scrapbooking, or other
art that is
digital, hybrid, or traditional, a favorite mug, cup and saucer, teapot,
coffee pot, or even a wine glass. Regardless, please join us by linking
below. Bleubeard and I will gladly visit, as will other T
participants. Please link only your T post and not your
blog in general. Bleubeard would like to remind you that old
photos are acceptable because they may be taken
any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year. Please remember to visit your
fellow T participants.
I want to give everyone a heads up in time for you to dig up your Second on the 2nd. The only requirement is, it must have been published some time in the past.

Bleubeard on a stamp! Well, almost! I can tell your stamp is well used! We are going out to WSU this Thursday to meet this years basketball team! Happy t day!
I meant your mug is well used.
That’s a very nice postcard. I should send more cards — I used to be very faithful and send them all the time, but it’s gone because the internet is so much faster. I managed to send one postcard from Greenland, to my sister who still has a collection. She thought it was her first Greenland postcard ever. It’s not even that easy to find cards any more.
Thanks for hosting — I found a very nice beverage image today, I think.

Great postcard for World Postcard Day. That cat stamps is perfect for you and Bleubeard!
Happy Tea Day,

Happy birthday to Kathy
Nice postcard from Elle. I'm sure Elle understands. And that is a really pretty fall mug. It is perfect for the season. And I have to smile at your Wichita State mug. I have a mug like that, obviously not Wichita State but one from my college that has the same wear. It just means you love it I think. Have a wonderful T day my friend. Hugs-Erika
Wow! You are lucky to get mail. With the postage going up again in the US I won't be mailing much any more. Love the stamp. Have a wonderful Tuesday.
You are lucky to get a postcard by mail. It is with nice words and I like the cat stamp too. This autumn mug is pretty and eye-pleasing. I also like your Wichita State mug. Glad you have used it from 1991 till now by maintaining its condition. Once I had such a mug that I loved and used for many years until it was broken.
Thanks for sharing all these exciting things to make the day happy.
Happy T Tuesday!

Happy birthday to Kathy - and thank you for sharing that gorgeous card.
How did your cat get onto a stamp? Lol
Beautiful card and stamp! And wow to your mug! It really works hard, 1991... thumbs up!
Thanks for linking me, Elizabeth! I'm glad you like your old, shabby mug. I have a fave mug, too, it's also very shabby and missing a handle - it had 2 at first, but it's still my fave! I got a wonderful card from Elle, too, I will show it next week! Hugs, Valerie
Wishing Kathy a very happy birthday! What a beautiful postcard of Elle, I received a Harry Potter postcard from her too, so kind 😊. Loving your autumn mug, the leaves look gorgeous - Happy T Day wishes! Hugs Jo x
Beautiful cat stamp. I too have my favourite mug.
Love the cat on the postcard and the cat on the stamp is adorable, too. Happy T Day
The cat stamp is lovely even if a bit scratched up. Do the kitties dress up for Halloween?
Real mail! What a treat :)
Oh no I'm sorry it got damaged. I received a Halloween postcard from a friend in the US and it was practically ripped in two, right across the middle. I love my little cat stamp, I use it on everything. Your stalks of wheat look a bit like broomsticks on your mug! Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx
I love the stamp Elle chose for her card to you! Perfection from outside to in! Happy Birthday to Kathy!
What a fabulous stamp! I love your old mug - it does have a well loved look to it, Happy T Day, Hugs, Chris
Happy Birthday to Kathy.
That is such a great stamp.
Happy T Day.
My good wishes ...
All the best Jan
FYI-I thought I'd let you know I didn't get your first comment. At least as of now it hasn't shown up nor is in my spam folder. I'm glad you sent the other comment about Harry Potter.
Oh wow! I simply adore postcards and used to collect them years ago. Now they're not all that easy to find. Yours is beautiful, what a cool stamp. Thanks for my lovely Halloween 🎃 card. You are truly special ❤️ Hugs, RO
