T Stands For T Tuesday Turns NINE Today

Today is a very special celebration.  We share a drink as we begin our ninth year at T Stands For Tuesday.

It's Party Time at T Stands For Tuesday.  We can let our hair down and party using our favorite drink.  Unfortunately some of our invited guests have yet to arrive, which means we will have to wait on their appearance.

Here are the guests who have made it this far.  Mia sent a large box of napkins, and this is the envelope mine are in.

Erika's package arrived just in time for the party.  I love those Maine postage stamps.

The first to arrive were Deb's.  Hers arrived nearly two weeks ago.  Not sure why it cost over $4.00 (USD), but I love those 2 dollar stamps.

Jo's package arrived last week, too.  I am in LOVE, LOVE, LOVE with those cats.  I would believe that was Squiggles on the right if it had a pink nose (and was about 15 lbs heavier).

If you are a T Stands For Tuesday participant and want to exchange an ATC, you don't need to be in the napkin swap to join the ATC swap.

Here are the rules:

Today is the day you leave an asterisk after your name if you wish to join the ATC swap.  Remember, this is ONLY for those T participants who live in the states.

For Pay-It-Forward or PIF,

1. You only need to create ONE ATC.  You may of course, make one for other T Tuesday friends, but only one is required to play the PIF game.

2. It will go to the next person who links after you who has an asterisk (*) after their name.

3.  Contact that person by leaving a comment on their blog.  Make arrangements to get their mailing address, either through their blog or their profile.

4.  Once you have their mailing address, send your ATC no later than Friday, July 22.  Sooner is better, but I realize sometimes real life gets in the way.

5. The person whose name is before yours who has an asterisk after their name should contact you.  Provide that player with your mailing information.

6. If you choose NOT to send an ATC, or are an International player, link as usual, but do NOT include an asterisk after your name.

7. The last player with an asterisk after their name will send to the first player on the list with an asterisk after their name.

8. Next comes the hard part.  DO NOT show your ATC on your blog this week.  Instead, wait until your PIF recipient has received it.

9. You DO NOT have to play the PIF game if you choose not to.  Don't worry.  No one will think any less of you if you don't.  However, please DO link, just as you would any normal T Tuesday.  International players are exchanging ATCs with their napkins.

Now it's time to link your drink inspired post.  You know what to do, so please join this very special occasion.

That is a very long running meme.
Love those stamps and yes the cat ones particularly took my eye.

How great that you have kept this fun party going for so long. I was late to the party (having joined in around 2020) but I always enjoy it, and wherever I take photos of food I always try to include a drink pic too, so I can join in -- despite being craftless instead of crafty like the other party goers. Today my post captured a whole drinks table at a dinner I attended.

Congratulations on 9 years of T-parties! Thank you so much for hosting them. I haven’t taken part for the full 9 years but certainly a number of years and I have really enjoyed with you, Bluebeard and Squiggles of course and the other ladies.
I’m sorry that I’m the one that’s late as of course my parcel is still in transit.
What a glut of stamps! And all so beautiful. Yes, the cat stamps are very special.
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

Happy, Happy 9th Anniversary, Elizabeth! It is such a fun T party every week. I have gotten to know you and the others that I wouldn't have ever known if you hadn't had the party. Thank you, Elizabeth.

Happy Anniversary! That's a long time for a party -- congratulations. I keep thinking I should join in but I never have food and drink posts going around the time it goes! Ah well -- I enjoy the others!

Well, this is a party to celebrate - I haven't been here for all those years but most I think! Those envelopes look fabulous. I think I missed an instruction as mine are waiting to be posted but I was waiting for the right time and now it seems I have missed it!I will get them in the post on Saturday when I get back from Paris. Can I ask. big favour too? Could you please link my TIOT post which is also for AJJ to the AJJ blog. I'm not taking my tablet away and I don't think my phone will make it easy for me!
I have made an ATC but that will also have to wait - I leave early tomorrow!
Happy 9th Birthday T Day, Hugs, Chrisx

Congratulations on 9 years! That is quite the accomplishment.
I love the stamps, especially the kitties of course, but also very much the Maine ones. I wonder what your mailman thinks when he brings all these goodies to you. Happy T day!

Congratulations on 9 years! Though I didn't start from year one I must say that since finding this (through our dear friend Patty) wonderful gathering I don't think I ever missed it in my posts from there on. It's such a lovely thing too to celebrate with exchanges/swaps. I'm only sorry not to be participating this year. I will LOVE seeing all the exchanges and mail art as well. Those kitty stamps are cute:). Happy T day!!

Happy birthday T day. And I'm glad my package just made it for today. It took so long to get there as I put it back into the mailbox on July 1. And I like how you showed your PBS mug again. I also hope you can salvage some of the Japanese paper for your crafting when you open my package.Maybe because they were hand stamped, but that definitely didn't damage the stamps quite so much. You have some great stamps to use. I hope you have a super T day. hugs-Erika

Many congratulations on your 9 year T Day anniversary! It looks like you have lots of exciting mail to open, loving all those stamps 😀. I was so pleased when I saw the cat stamps at the post office, I was telling the post office staff that Bleubeard on the envelope was a cat so they were perfect! Glad you like them too and sending you very Happy 9Th T Day wishes! Hugs Jo x

Congrats on 9 years - I think in blog years that is like 50 years! You have much commitment and dedication. I wish I had been joining T-day for 9 years - I always have so much fun checking out everyone's blog posts and finding interesting drinks to share. Thanks for doing it Elizabeth and for setting a great example!

I am so busy lately or I would definitely do the swaps.

Many hugz and Happy Special T-day!

Happy 9th Birthday! I'm guessing mine is one of the ones that didn't make it to the party on time. I'm so disappointed with the postal service as they said it would take 6 days and I posted it on 1st July :( And I am quite envious of Jo's cat stamps too lol Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx
