In full glory!

It's once again time to join Tracey from Hotchpotchcreations, our host this month at Art Journal Journey with her theme which is My Favorite Color is October.

This is today's entry for Tracey's theme.

"The leaves are starting to change,

In full glory!

I've included a few detail shots.

I began by stamping various  autumn leaves on 110 lb. cardstock.  I have no idea where the purple came from, because I used brown shades and green to color these flowers.  Neither were wood mounted, so that was a problem for me.  I'm not much of a stamper, anyway, so that's why the inconsistency.  After stamping the leaves, I added the beautiful focal image I found in my stash.

Thank you ever so much for visiting today.  Bleubeard, and I are absolutely thrilled you dropped by and hope to see you at Art Journal Journey with your own take on My favorite color is October.

Beautiful page, you used a fabulous image. Sorry about the colour change, but it still fits well to October! The trees are all looking beautiful here, too. Have a wonderful Monday, see you later! Hugs, Valerie

Whether you define yourself as a non stamper or what i think this shows some lovely stamping. I love the delicate leaves you have given us and the colours are lovely, even the purple which I am sure I have seen on some of the autumn leaves around us.
The picture is beautiful - I love water when it has a reflection in it and this is a beautiful example of trees reflected in the water - fantastic shades of autumn too.
I love this page Elizabeth.
Hugs, to you all xxx Neet xxx

Yes, in full glory! "Heaven and Earth are full of Thy glory! Hosanna in the highest!" as we say each Mass. I love that Psalm and your cards capture such glory and beauty. I love your library table decorated for Halloween!

Now this is my kind of October, those rusty red leaves amongst the greens and golds are what drew me to October many many years ago. Marvelous use of those images and the stamping fits in fine, there's many shades of purple hidden amongst the branches and leaves. In full glory says it all.. Love it.
