T Stands For Gratitude

I'm at my dining room table today drinking plain cold water since I ran out of lemons.

Saturday I received this thick package from my friend Chris at pearshapedcrafting.  I waited until today to open it, since I wasn't feeling well before that.  Yes, it's nearly time for T and I still hadn't opened my wonderful gift.

Lisca loves to see the postage stamps and I love these vinyl album cover stamps specific to British rock artists.  I have to admit, I've never been a Beatles fan (please don't flog me, it's just they were not hard enough or psychedelic rock enough for me).  That's why I had never heard of Flamingo Pie or Egypt Street Station albums.  McCartney was just never on my radar (or radio station).  If you want to make me smile, play something by Pink Floyd, especially from their Dark Side of the Moon album!  But I digress!

You can tell I'm feeling much better this afternoon.  This package of goodies did it.  It would make me smile, even if I was on my death bed!

Look at this incredible ATC Chris made for me.  At first, the focal image looked a bit like the postage stamps I used on my packages to ATC recipients.

Now look and admire the wonderful goodies inside the smaller white envelope.  I love it all, including the embossed fussy cut birds, the clock face, the villages, the ticket, the postage stamp, and

this incredible Paris die cut that blew me away.  Thank you so much Chris for making me forget my ear ache.  It is nearly back to normal, thanks to you, dear friend.  As I wrote in my thank you note, you shouldn't have.

It's now time to share your own drink inspired post this week.  It can be gifts you received, photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, mail art, junk mail, catalogs, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink.  Regardless, please share below and Bleubeard and I, along with the rest of the T gang will be by to visit.   Please link only your T post and not your blog in general.  Bleubeard would like to remind you that old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year.

Sorry for the Paul McCartney stamps - I know you are a Pink Floyd fan but I was teen in the 60's and there was so much good music around then - I must say that I was as much of a Rolling Stones fan as I was of the Mersey sound...and I do like Pink Floyd too (though probably not as much as you and Tony do!)
Glad you liked the extras though!
Pleased to know that you are feeling a little better too!
Hugs, Chrisxx

Glad you're feeling much better- and yet, who wouldn't receiving such a wonderful package of gifts!!! The ATC is so charming, and that Paris die cut - oh my- in love with it! So nice to show the postage stamps for those of us who do repurpose and enjoy them- thank you.
I was 5 years old when I first heard the Beatles and was given a 45 and my first album not long after- and yes I still have them along with others I've acquired ever since:):):) But I do also enjoy some of Pink Floyd's music. Both hubby and I are such music lovers and have a vast collection of genres.
Happy t day!

I'm so glad your ear is better. And it is good to know healing happened in such a fun way: opening gifts! Lots of nice things.
The Paris die cut is gorgeous. And I really like the frilly ATC.
Thank you for showing the stamps. I immediately recognized Flaming Pie, as I actually have that album. But I don't know Egypt Station.I also like Pink Floyd and you will be pleased to know that Dark Side Of The Moon is my favorite too. Although I also have their latest (well, it's a few years old now) CD full of beautiful guitar instrumentals with haunting music and slow melodies. beautiful.
Hope your ear continues to heal.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
