Today I'm joining Butterfly from Words and Pictures, our host this month at Art Journal Journey. Her theme is Summer Countryside.
I started this page by coloring a sheet of 110 lb cardstock with Staz-on and 91% Isopropyl alcohol. I found this image in a magazine and cut it to size. I added a piece of black cardstock to the side of the image. I wrote the to do list using a black Sharpie. I cut it to size and matted it on more black cardstock.
Bleubeard and I are delighted you stopped by today and hope to see you at Art Journal Journey with your own interpretation of Summer Countryside.

Your to-do list (and your expression of it) look MUCH better than mine does.
What a fun way of making a to-do list. Biking in the country and a picnic sound great. Have a fun day, hugs, Valerie
Thank you for being such a nice article. You set a great example for everyone around you.

Wouldn't it be nice to do just those fun things? I wouldn't need a list if that was my plan.

Such a pleasant Summer activity. It's raining again today. The bike stays in the garage and we'll have to have our picnic inside. Hopefully, your weather is better.
This is such a sweet page. I think biking in the country and having a picnic lunch would be great. I used to do that a lot when I was a teenager with no car. And friends had no car either. I love this idea and what a clever thought you had with that photo. Hope your Monday is brighter than mine. Lots of rain here. See you later for T. Hugs-Erika
This is inspiring but cooler weather must prevail before I try it. Have fun!
You are so cleaver with your art.
That's a to-do list I can get behind :)
I cannot think of anything nicer, if I could ride a bike! Seriously it sounds idyllic, a lovely ride in the countryside, and a picnic lunch. Of course it would have to be a dry summers day (which today is not).
Hugs, Neet xxx
Lovely
what a nice piece Elizabeth; would like to be on a bike in the country right now; would even like to be NOT on a bike in the country right now !!! ☺☺♥♥ hope your weekend was great :)
A great to do list and a wonderful page Elizabeth!
Happy new week.

DAng. I will have to expand my lean list.
That sounds like a perfect set of items "to do!"
Thanks so much for your visits and wonderful comments, Elizabeth. It's been a tough week and I always love and appreciate comments but no more so than on the past couple of posts. Thanks!
Happy 8th Tea for Tuesday Anniversary!! oh golly gosh, (not a word I usually say out loud!)I remember having some lovely chocolate icecream topped up with lemonaid and it was de-lish-ous! Now I want one!!
Yes, I did try the email for my PIF! but I've had this trouble before, as it comse up, (once I sign in, but before I click on the allow button)......
This will allow Windows to:
•
Read, compose, send and permanently delete all your email from Gmail
•
See, edit, download and permanently delete your contacts
•
See, edit, share and permanently delete all the calendars that you can access using Google Calendar
I read that and said, no way! I don't want anything deleted from my google account! so... I never get to find out the emails (it happened on the woyww swap too) I just wasn't going to risk clicking on the 'allow' and then losing my google account, because that is what it sounds like it wants to do! Or, perhaps my dyslexic mind is reading it wrong! Hopefully she will see my comment and send me her email that way!
Stay safe! Keep on crafting! ((Lyn))
A wonderful page, it brought back many happy memories if cycle rides with the family.

Very fun! Love the bike picture and the thought of riding one in the country for a picnic!!!
I love this Elizabeth! It reminds of cycle rides I used to take as a teen! Chrisx
Now that's a lovely to-do list... much more fun than mine, which only seems to get longer not shorter. Though if I'm going to be pedantic, it would be better to pack your picnic lunch first on the list, otherwise it won't be ready when you go cycling in the country!!
