T Stands For My Cup Has Heart

Bleubeard and I are sharing our heARTS today at Art Journal Journey.

You will also find us at my dining room table with my drink of the day.  As you can tell, "My cup has heart."

There are also some little heart "candies" that those of you in other countries get with your coffee drink, but we in the states do not.

For this page, I started with a sheet of 110 lb card stock I cut in half to 5.5 X 8.5 inches (13,97 X 21,59 centimeters).  The cup of cappuccino was found on the internet.  Since I only have black ink (inkjet printer) and black toner (laser printer), I printed the desaturated image and used a water soluble crayon to color around the heart.  I added three buttons from my stash and the sentiment, also colored with a water soluble crayon.  I hope you will stay for a drink then join Bleubeard and me at Art Journal Journey, with your heart inspired art, too.

Now it's your turn.  By now you probably know the "rules," but in case you don't, please show something drink related. It can be photos, a place you visited, movies, tea cups, coffee mugs, a tea or coffee service, postcards, books, magazines, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags, ATCs, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink.  Please share below and Bleubeard and I, along with the rest of the T gang will be by to visit.   Please link only your T post and not your blog in general.  Old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday, and not just this year.

Your journal page today is certainly full of heart, just how I like it! I always enjoy cappuccino extra when it has a heart on the top of it! And I'm sorry you don't get a cookie or candy with your coffee over there, that's always a great extra. Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

What a gorgeous idea, Elizabeth!
You don't have heart stencils for coffee cups in US? Well, that's what I will send you next time I will send you a gift!!! Ha ha!!! Hugs, sweetie!!!

Your cup sure does have heart, it looks great, I thought you’d painted the whole thing! I don’t drink cappuccino either (too milky), but am always taken with the art the baristas make in the foam. There are a couple places I know that put a Lotus caramel biscuit on the saucer, but generally here, you don’t get anything on the side when you order coffee, specially not from the big chain shops!

Love your hearts in the cup and I agree those that go out for coffee in the states do not get a sweet treat with it. great page Elizabeth and Happy T hugs Kathy

I immediately imagined all the cups of cappuccino that our European T-ladies share so frequently. Those lovely cups make me long to like coffee. And so does your "painting." I love how you photographed it as well, Elizabeth.

Happy T-day! Eileen xx

That is a lovely cappuccino with a heart! (and from the heart I'm sure). You even have little sweeties. I didn't realize you don't get anything with your coffee in the States.
I love how you have painted the black and white image. Very clever.
A very happy T-day to you,
Lisca

I envy the cappuccino drinkers that get creamy hearts in their cups. The heart "candies" you added are so cute and add to the realism. Happy T Day

Not that I like sweets, but... you do not get a treat with your coffee when you have one in a café/restaurant?! Crazy.
Glad you made your own then! Very cute, also how your little easel fits your chairs! A happy T-day to you, dear friend! Thank you for hosting.

Morning Elizabeth, I love your art work, we get hearts on top of our coffee in Spain on Valentine’s Day, also heart shape sugar sachets, I don’t take sugar but I saved them for the GSs!
Those sweets reminded me of some we had as children, not sure if you would have seen them, called Love hearts, I wasn’t fond of them actually but each one had something written on it like, “be mine,” “ love you “etc.
Have a Happy T day

This is a post is full of love and of course a very tempting cup of coffee even for this tea drinker. I love how you have the easel display for the fabulous page, this would also look super framed for the wall.

Fabulous page! The image looks wonderful with the heart shape on top of the coffee, I'm always amazed at the patterns that can be created in the froth 😁. By the way I did think of you when I was trying the stouts, we had lots of dark beers this year and I think you would have enjoyed them too! Happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x

Neat image you created and I love your decorative little easel. A side comment, my husband saw that the little candy hearts with messages on them will no longer exist. Say it isn’t so!

This is a dramatic cup of cappuccino At first I thought it was very large then saw it was on a desk top easel. I am always so impressed by the way you make art in a different way and now I also find that you are without colour in your printer. How is that possible. You are ingenious, Elizabeth.

What a clever way to merge various mediums to get that picture of coffee. I do occasionally have a cappuccino when we are out but mostly its the home brew for me.

Wishing you a Happy Valentines Day early - just in case I don't get back here in time. Always thinking of you and the tea gang even if I'm not always online.

Love your hearty coffee, or should I say cappuccino. I honestly thought it was hand drawn, you made such a good job of using that soluble crayon to colour around the the heart. I wonder how many Baristas have been practising their 'hearts' in readiness for Friday?

This way my partner Wesley Virgin's adventure starts with this shocking and controversial VIDEO.

You see, Wesley was in the military-and soon after leaving-he unveiled hidden, "MIND CONTROL" tactics that the CIA and others used to obtain everything they want.

THESE are the exact same SECRETS many famous people (notably those who "became famous out of nowhere") and the greatest business people used to become wealthy and successful.

You've heard that you only use 10% of your brain.

Mostly, that's because the majority of your BRAINPOWER is UNCONSCIOUS.

Perhaps this expression has even taken place INSIDE your own mind... as it did in my good friend Wesley Virgin's mind around seven years back, while riding an unlicensed, beat-up bucket of a car with a suspended driver's license and $3.20 on his banking card.

"I'm so fed up with living paycheck to paycheck! When will I become successful?"

You took part in those conversations, am I right?

Your very own success story is waiting to start. You need to start believing in YOURSELF.
