WOYWW 249: the one where she returns to her craft room

Julia, our beloved head Desker and Queen of What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday likes us to keep it short and sweet, so I'm going to try to do that tonight.

I'm back in my main floor craft room because the weather has changed dramactically.

It was even nice enough today that I was able to finish my NBA All-Star Game visual journal, do five loads of laundry, and hang them on my clothesline.

I know most of you came to see the rocking horse, and this is one that sits on my VCR (yes, I'm really old school) alongside my TV.  Wow, this looks like I shot it with my old camera that took lousy, fuzzy, out-of-focus pictures, but in truth,

I didn't have it on the proper setting.

As always, I ask that you please leave your number, and if you are a G+ owner with a blog that requires me to join G+ in order to leave a comment, I'll visit, but you won't know I stopped by.  Since there's lots of snooping to do, I'll say thanks for the visit and see you at your or Julia's blog.

Glad to see you can craft in your craft room again! It must be that which caused you to miss top spot, lol! Yes, it was the new dies that my title referred to.. dies, dieing to show.. etc. The ice cream cone one is called petal point though it does look like a cone. thanks for the visit. Helen 16

Owning 3 sewing machines and a serger you would think I would add stitching to my art too. But it is something I just never started.
Your journal is (as always) amazing.

If you email me your address I'll send you a rocker.

Morning Elizabeth, gosh only #7 today you are slipping. As for me I have upped my game to #39. Nice to see you back in your craft room, can you see any grass yet then? We've had a couple of beautiful sunny spring days so DH turned the heating off in the day and I froze yesterday! I gave myself an hour before the ladies arrived to clean up my house! then sat at my harp to relax before the doorbell went. We all had a great time. I started another blog of our exploits which you might like to have a look at too.http://ccraftclub.blogspot.co.uk/ Thanks for the pre-number visit. HUGS BJ #39

In my "just woke up state" I never noticed the fuzzy picture until I saw the clear one. Doh!
Glad the weather has changed somewhat, hope it stays that way for you. Has Bleubeard been out in the sunshine then?

I love your journal and can't believe your machine will go through that much paper - I get through so many needles sewing on paper, and my machine gets bad tempered if I ask too much of it! I love the little rocking horse on the wooden stamp too - so cute!
Hope you have a good week,

Neat rocking horse. That's a lot of layers for your machine, I'm impressed. And yes, things are looking up in the Uk as well, have just done a tour of the garden and think it will be warm enough for lunch or afternoon coffee outside today. Already looking forward to it! Happy WOYWW Cindy #58

The bears stopped by for a weekly rocking horse picture for sure. Desks? Everyone has those, but not every one has rocking horses too.

We're @74 this week :)

On a previous post.. I think I recall a comment about a rocking horse. Would you like a flat blue gingham 2 inch rocking horse? If so leave mailing address. Thanks for sharing Carole #68

PS how do we know if Google has hijacked our blog and expects you to join, cos I'm not sure they tell us if this is so, and if it is, I will be having words with Mr Google.

Hi Elizabeth, wow, those old wooden alphabet blocks! They bring back memories.Isn't it wonderful to be able to hang your washing outside? Not sure if the G+ thing applies with my blog- I will look and see if there are any options for circumventing it if I do not see a visit from you :) Have a great week, Hugs Shaz #37 xxx

How great to hear from you on my birthday!! (yay!) I just have no time , which is why I felt I shouldn't join in with WOYWW coz I'm up early and out walking dogs and have no time left to visit peoples desks. It's my new (Old but revamped) venture! and there's no way I can't burn the candle at both ends any more, like going to bed five minutes before I get up, I'm tooooo wacked out! Love to see your rocking horses, they do get everywhere!
Thank you for your wishes and I will TRY to visit more often!

Delighted to learn you are enjoying better weather and that you can get into your craft room again. No doubt Bleubeard is like our Bonnie and glad to be able to get out and about more too. I wish you could have seen her today ... running around like a kitten again, not the old lady she really is, while we were all out in the garden :) Hope the weather continues to be good for you. Yay, good weather equals happy times! Ours has been lovely this week too...I've gardened, sprayed our fences, shifted earth, saved a lot of earthworms (Daft I know, but I have to!) and crafted when I could but I feel guilty staying in when the sun is shining. So glad that you have found your way back to your craft room...hope you manage to stay there a good long while!

What happened, Elizabeth? Not in NO 1 place this week. Mind you, as you can see, I am way down the list today. The weather has such a profound effect on our feelings. The sun really brings people out to enjoy life again, instead of worrying constantly about flooding etc. The spring flowers brighten up our thoughts. Glad you have managed to get back into your craft room and I hope the improvement in temperature continues for you. Have a good week. xx Maggie #85
