Today I received a totally awesome ATC from Cindy McMath. If you haven't checked out her work, you should. She is one of the best artists around and I now own another wonderful piece of her work.
In late August (August 22 to be exact), I sent Cindy a Bingo quiltlet. It was not quite like the ones I made for the September quiltlet swap. Since I've actually given up hope of Cindy ever receiving it, and to thank her in some small way for her kindness, even if it IS only a scan, I am posting the quiltlet I made for her.
The back side is nearly the same as the ones for the swap, except it is inscribed with "Made especially for Cindy, the Queen of Bingo, by Elizabeth, the Queen of Free." I didn't take a scan of the back, which just reinforces the fact that no matter how minute or insignificant the piece (or the view), you should always photograph it before you send it on its way.
Again, thanks Cindy and enjoy the scan. Please click on the photo for a better view. Incidentally, I added one of my handmade wire hangers between the loops, too, but scanned the piece before I made it.

Elizabeth, I'm so glad you liked your ATC and birdies! I'm so sorry that the postal service lost the bingo quiltlet - it looks fabulous!
Cindy :)
