I finally sat down at my sewing machine yesterday and made this quiltie (or quiltlet, if you will) for George's birthday. You might remember his birthday was September 8. I used wonder under to attach the eagle and zig-zag stitched the fibers onto the material.
This is the back. I wanted it to at least appear it was his birthday gift, thus the September date. For this, I used a Sharpie, which bled in some places. This gave me the idea that I might be able to color some fabric using Sharpies. That's for another day, though.
