This is a stand alone 8 1/2" X 10" collage. The simple, yet time consuming background is made from 2" squares cut from various books. The shoes are all from current magazines.
I was surprised at the wide variety of shoe styles this year. Usually, the heels are either big and clunky, or skinny and spiked, but not in the same year. (By the way, I'll take my Reebok Princess style tennis shoes any day!)

this made me smile...for some reason I don't think of using fashion stuff in my collages..(except of course the drawings of girls' faces) these all look pretty painful for the wearer...! great job! and I agree...tennis shoes are so much more practical!!!
