Paris

Today will be the final entry for Erika's theme at Art Journal Journey.  I haven't played because I can't leave comments, not even on my own blog.  I did, however, want to show my support at least one final time this month.

I named this Paris and it follows the What's Up? theme with an airplane.  Detail images are below.

This is a two page spread in my latest altered book that was too large for the scanner.  The plane is one I printed on my color laser printer.  I used what seemed like a half roll of washi tape covering the words on the page.  The picture of the Eiffel Tower came from a magazine with extremely thin pages.  Although I used a glue stick, the picture buckled a bit.  The heart was fussy cut from a Christmas card and the words were computer generated and printed on my black-only laser printer.

I want to thank Erika for being such a great host this month.  Not only did she create lots of incredible art, she also made sure each person was visited and thanked for their participation.  She certainly showed how a good host should treat fellow participants.  I am extremely pleased and proud of what she accomplished for Art Journal Journey.  It's not too late to visit and create your own art, too.
