I apologize for not visiting either my T Tuesday or Second Look group, but I am very sick.

My friend Joseph insisted he take me to Emergency Care. I told him I couldn't afford it, but he said they could determine why I was still so ill.
The person who looked at me, said I had a "bug." I was given a prescription for something that looked and tasted very much like

I've shown you mine, now it's time to share your own drink
related post. It can be
photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, books, sketches, mixed
media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is
digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back
to a drink, any drink. Regardless,
please share below and Bleubeard and I will gladly visit, as will other T
participants. Please link only your T post and not your
blog in general. Bleubeard would like to remind you that old
photos are acceptable because they may be taken
any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year. Please remember to visit your
fellow T participants.
I apologize, but it took all my strength just to write this post. Please be aware, I promise to visit as soon as I am able.

I am so sorry that you are still sick. I really hope that you will feel much better very soon.
I hope you feel better soon!
That doctor sound like they just went the easy route. I'm sorry to read you are still not feeling well. I hope you feel better soon. hugs-Erika
Oh no, dear Elizabeth,
I’m so sorry to hear you are feeling unwell again, and that once more you didn’t have a good experience with medical care. I’m not a doctor, but from your description it sounds like you may have caught a salmonella infection or norovirus.
Both can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and headaches — and in both cases it’s important to stay hydrated and replace lost minerals. Chocolate milk gives you some liquid and energy, but unfortunately dairy can sometimes make stomach and intestinal problems worse. If you can, it might help to switch to lighter, gentler fluids for a few days.
In either case, it’s important to drink plenty of fluids (water or tea). Home remedies that can help include apple cider vinegar diluted with water (or another good vinegar if that’s all you have), lemon juice with water, herbal teas such as fennel, ginger, chamomile, or caraway, and also tomato juice, lightly salted vegetable broth (even from instant powder) oder diluted apple juice (half juice, half water). The main goal is to flush out the pathogens, support your immune system, and calm your stomach and intestines.
Here is another very inexpensive home remedie that might help:
Simple Homemade Rehydration Drink (ORS):
1 liter clean water
6 level teaspoons sugar
½ teaspoon salt
→ Stir well and sip slowly. This helps replace lost fluids and salts.
Thise is easier on the stomach and may help you recover faster. Rest as much as possible, keep warm (a hot water bottle on your stomach), and be patient with your body — it needs time to heal.
I hope you’ll feel much better very soon. Sending you a big gentle hug and all my best wishes. 💛

I am very sorry you are sick and as sorry you had doubts you can afford medical help.
That is sad.
Here it´s not a matter of "money" as you have to have insurance but we have not enough doctors. So the money is kinda wasted...
I wish you all the best to get well soon and chapeau for still hosting, dear Elizabeth!
How awful, and double awful that you have to pay so much for medical attention (which in this case was worthless).
I totally second what Traude Rostrose says. That is good advice. All of it. Keep hydrated! Try broth as milk sometimes makes the stomach worse. Or something acid, as most 'bugs' don't like that and stop thriving.
Get well soon.
