I'm back joining Erika and her bird and spring theme at Art Journal Journey.

According to Erika, we can share anything that reminds us of spring. And there are no other flowers that remind
me of spring like the peony. They bloom just in time to decorate graves. Detail shots are below.

I started with a used file folder I cut in half, then colored with inks from my fingers. I didn't want the ink to go to waste, so tried to cover as much as possible. I'll show the other side tomorrow. Next I adhered the strip of blue cardstock left over from another project. Several years ago I created the peony for another project. There were two of them on the page. Since I had already used my color toner, I considered this recycled or repurposed, as I did the file folder and strip of blue cardstock.
Thank you for visiting. I appreciate you dropping by. You will also find me over at
Art Journal Journey today. This is Day 12 of 22.

How I wish I could grow peonies.
...peonies are one of Mother Nature's fineness creations.
Beautiful!
So pretty. No peonies for me today as we are buried under 4 inches of snow!
I remember my grandmother had big peony bushes. At least I think they were peonies--lol! :)
Peonies are a favorite of mine. Like Rita, my gran had big bushes too. Mine? Not so great but still lovely!
Oh I think this page screams spring. Not only do peonies also remind me of spring, so do those beautifully colored backgrounds. It's a lovely page, and great you could recycle too. Thanks for joining us at AJJ my friend. hugs-Erika
