In the Forest

I had scheduled this for last Saturday, but I still can't publish any comments.  Four got through yesterday and it gave me hope.  Sadly, that was as far as I got.  I don't think it's fair to publish art when I can't thank people when they visit.  Sadly, I have art to share and I'm running out of time to share it.  If I can find your e-mail address and you have left a comment, I will return the comment with an e-mail.  Takes much longer, but it's the only way I know to thank visitors for stopping by.

Bleubeard and I are delighted you joined us today at Art Journal Journey, where our host this month is Alison/Craftytrog, whose chosen theme is Autumn Colors and Inspiration

This relatively simple entry took forever to align.  Instead of measuring, as any "normal" person would do, after I cut the matte to size, I simply eyeballed it.  A detail shot is below.  I am also joining Try It On Tuesday whose theme is Autumn Magic.

This started out as a "thank you" card issued by the National Forest Service when you contributed to their cause.  I thought it definitely looked like autumn had arrived.  I cut the yellow copier/printer matte to size, then mounted it over part of an old Stampington freebie they included when you bought the magazine.

Bleubeard and I are so glad you stopped by. We hope you will join us at
Art Journal Journey with your own interpretation of Autumn Colors and Inspirations and Try It On Tuesday's Autumn Magic.

I like looking up into the canopy. I almost feel like I'm in the middle of the woods.

It is absolutely perfect, Elizabeth.
Me, like you, I feel bad some times because I cannot thank people when they visit. But it is a lack of time, my friend. In your case it is a problem with Blogger. In any case, I am sure that blogging friends understand. When you can, you will leave comments, there is no rush. Big hugs, sweetie.
