It's time once again to join Sami at Sami's Colourful World and her Monday Murals. Even though it's still Sunday in my world, please be aware that Sami's mural link goes live at 10:01 a.m. my time today.
When I showed it before, some people complained it was faded and worn. That doesn't make it any less important or worthy of the spirit this mural conveys. I continue the weekend honoring those who served, no matter when or where they served, no matter what country, and no matter whether they are living or
dead. This mural in all its faded glory is located at Harvey Drug, 115 W 5th in Newton, Kansas (USA).
If you enjoy murals from around the world, please don't forget to visit Monday Murals at Sami's Colourful World.

...very timely!
Perfect
Doesn't matter if it is faded and worn! :)
Wonderful mural!
Part of the fascinating aspect of murals and other street art is that they are ephemeral. They peel. They fade. They are defaced by graffiti painters. Their buildings are rebuilt or torn down or hidden by new construction next door. And that makes them all the more precious while they live. Your tribute is well-chosen.

It is indeed perfect for the weekend. And some veterans are also faded and worn - which doesn't make them any less precious. More if anything.
Nice to see this mural again. Hope you're having a nice weekend. hugs-Erika
A very nice mural. The flag fluttering in the wind is a great addition. The mural and the post on the mural are great tributes to veterans.
Have a good week, Elizabeth. :)
