It's Friday, which means it's time to join Friday Smiles, hosted by Annie (at A Stitch in Time). I
will not be able to join next Friday because I will be performing my
co-administrative duties at Art Journal Journey where I, and the other
admins. welcome a new host on the first of every month. Bleubeard and I will be back on September 8.
I have a few funnies for you, too.
Thanks for dropping by today. Enjoy your weekend. I hope you found a bit of humor in these, especially if a cat owns you. PLEASE visit Annie and
don't forget to start your weekend with a smile. And if you live in
the midwest in the USA, stay inside, turn on your AC, and drink lots of
fluids, please. We are still in the middle of an extreme heat warning, but temperatures are hopefully dropping a few degrees next week.

What a lovely parasol and heavy cast iron stand. Here it is also too hot to sit outside. I do hope you get some nice weather so you can enjoy your garden (or yard as you guys call it).
The funnies had me in stitches!
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca
Love the funnies. And hate it when my feet find the puke before my eyes do.
It has cooled down a bit here now thank goodness. We use our parasol to shade the back door so we can keep it open as it catched the sun there. I'm not a lover of so much heat, guess it comes from being a northerner. I don't know what we'd do without the WD40 it's magical! Loving the funnies who ever wrote them certainly knows cats and dogs. Have a lovely weekend. Big hugs, Angela xXx
I'm dropping by quickly this week before we head off to a lovely campsite near Monmouth.
I love your parasol and your funnies are great.
I hope you have a great week.
Hugs,
Annie x
This little, beautiful rusty wagon steals the show!
And what´s the "Greek" pattern in the grass?
To black cats! I had a customer who had two and sent me pics - it was always a joy!
Do cats really follow you into the bathroom?! What for?
OMG, "where did I barf?" B(Ingo). You really tell me out of getting a cat (or two), Ingo sure will thank you!
Very good one with the present!
Hahaha, I was to learn about UML (Unified Modeling Language) - got that covered now - I just nudge it!
To big SMILES!
Good old WD40. I am glad you got that lovely parasol working. I am sure you need it in this weather.
You found some good feline funnies again this week. Kate x
..WD-40 and duct tape can fix just about anything.
WD40 and duct tape is all you really need - WD40 to stop the Republicans squeaking so much and duct tape for P01135809’s mouth.
Your picnic spot with the now-functional umbrella and rustic serving cart looks just lovely. So good that it's fixed.
best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
WD-40 is right up there with duct tape. I hope it gets cool enough for you to sit outside.
Lovely funnies. David's comment is once again succinct and to the point! But seriously, WD.40 and duct tape are necessary to life! Hugs, Valerie
you've created a haven back yard, and what funny cartoons!!
Leeanna
You will love the shade of that umbrella!
Kitty and critter cartoons are always good. :)
Okay... I came here from Mae's Food Blog out of curosity because of the name. I'm glad I did. I've had pets all of my life, and all of these funny cartoons are spot on. I'm still laughing.
Glad you got your umbrella in order! Love the funnies today!
I love your outside space! The umbrella must make it delightful even when you have direct sun in that spot. I'd eat lunch at that picnic table a lot -but probably not during these 100+ days you've been getting. This heat has been hard on the plants and on outdoor activities.
