Ronda

As you probably know by now, Bleubeard and I are hosting Art Journal Journey the entire month of April.  Our theme is recycle, reuse, and/or repurpose anything in your art journal.

These are pages taken from a couple of travel brochures sent by agents who want me to visit Ronda, Spain.  That bottom image looked really familiar to me and I knew exactly where I had seen it!  All I had to do was find it.  And find it, I did.

It is from a 2019 post by Kate, also known as Mamapez.  Her blog is called Kate's Adventures and here is the post she shared with us from Ronda.  Kate gave me permission to share this photo of her and her husband Chris on their stay in Ronda.  Those of you who visit every Friday read her always enjoyable Friday Smiles.

Now for a few detail shots.

The background was a new sheet of copier/printer paper.  The two images were cut from two "junk mail" travel brochures using my deckle scissors.  The words were computer generated and printed on the back of a recipe I decided I didn't need to keep.  The postage stamp is from my friend Lisca, another Friday Smiles participant.

We hope you enjoyed what we recycled today and we are glad you are here to cheer us on.  We also hope to see you at Art Journal Journey with your own interpretation of recycle, reuse, and/or repurpose.

Wow.
Mind you I am against bull fights. They are another thing I would like to see relegated to the past.

It looks like a fascinating place to visit, and how cool that you recognized it from a blogger friend's post. That makes this post even better because of that connection. I'd like to visit Ronda and more of Spain. It won't be this year though. Have a great Friday my friend. It's almost the big day too-smile. hugs-Erika

Hi Elizabeth, there is nothing special needed over on instagram. I have been signed up there for several years now and once in awhile I will try to upload a photo from my computer-this time it recognized I was on a computer-and just sent me to upload my photo--so am happy they finally did that.
and yes you Can take a month off from T and the internet, just announce ahead of time-we will all understand hugs

Today is the 21st. So is today your birthday? I think so. Happy Birthday! (And if I'm a day late -- or early, happy birthday nevertheless!)

The rocky outcrop is beautiful isn't it? I echo EC on bullfighting.
Hope your weekend is one long, fun birthday celebration.
