Rain's TADD, Nicole's FFO, and Annie's Friday Smiles join forces as I am back online

Before we begin, I want to take a moment of silence to honor and respect International Holocaust Remembrance Day.  It is an opportunity to remind the world of the horrors of the Holocaust and Nazi Germany, especially since my own country is now being torn apart due to antisemitism and racism.  PLEASE take this moment to reflect and remember.

Rain's prompt for this week is scarf.  Since both of these have a face, I'm also joining Nicole and her Friday Face Off

For Rain's TADD, all I have to offer are these

mandarin oranges that I have peeled. These are really delicious and I will share how I used them soon.  Right now, all I have are the oranges.

It's now time to join Friday Smiles, hosted by Annie (at A Stitch in Time). Let's visit Annie and the other wonderful ladies who also share their smiles each Friday.  Since I have very little to smile about this week, I will give you some funnies and this time I hope they are actually funny. These are all about photo bombing.

To smiles and cats!!!
I´ll have pomelo later.
Yes, I have two posts today, one on Holocaust. How people can.... be so little and go at helpless persons and others so strong, surviving this...

It is indeed important and good to remember.
I am intrigued by the bowl of oranges, and look forward to seeing how you use them.
Cats are great photo-bombers. I enjoyed all your photos. Kate x

It is good to be respectful of the Holocaust and it's sad that there are so many racist people still in this world. I'm sure if they look back in history they may well find that their ancestors did not originate from the country where they live now. What can you say but that's cats for you! Hope you have a good weekend. Hugs, Angela xXx

Yes, it's very important to remember. And also to reflect on our own behavior. Anti-Semitism hasn't gone away. I think people are trying to find a scapegoat for everything that has gone wrong in the world.
Your photo bombs are hilarious! I literally laughed out loud.
Those mandarins look intriguing. I'm sure you are not going to eat them. My guess is that you are making a dye.
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca

Cats are clearly the BEST photo bombers! The first one is hilarious as the cat seems to be making a statement about the couple kissing.

Thank you for writing about Holocaust Remembrance Day.

That’s a good collection of photo-bombing cats. My favorite photo-bombing photo was taken at a gymnastic match, where two gymnasts were having their photo taken and QUEEN ELIZABETH photo bombed them with a big smile. Best ever!

Nice that you are back online, and I hope you don’t have any big problems that kept you away …

Elizabeth,

I like the snowman's scarf. Do women wear dress scarves still? I don't think I've seen ladies wearing these in many years. How interesting. The Friday Smiles you came up with are great. Some of these cats are hilarious! Have a funtastic weekend and thanks for visiting, my dear!

Holocaust Remembrance should be every day and yes I hate what is happening in our country ... it would seem some don't care if we lose everything we believe in including our values and truth. But you whipped me out of my funk with your cat bombs ... what a hoot. I bet you have some Bleubeard bombs hidden away somewhere. You should post them :) Breath deep and do the best you can. Hopefully we will all get through this ...

I hope next week brings you more reasons to smile, Elizabeth. Thanks for remembering the Holocaust. We must never forget what happened. It sickens me to see the rise of antisemitism and racism in our country. On an entirely different note, the drawing of the lady in the scarf if lovely. She is so beautiful that I hardly notice the snowman. The photobomb pictures are hysterical. I enjoyed them all, but the cat photobombing the dog makes me laugh every time I look at it. Have a much better week!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog! It is so nice to meet you through Rain! Love your photo bomb photos - I especially found the wedding ones to be funny since our daughter is getting married in October!

We should never forget the Holocaust and should make sure that those who choose to deny it or minimize it do not succeed. Sadly, we have learned little from it. The Killing Fields of Cambodia and the massacres in Rwanda make this clear, to say nothing of the ethnic cleansing in the Balkans. And now Putin is doing his best to obliterate Ukraine. Humans are a sorry bunch.

My daddy fought in Europe in WW2. It's scary how many people don't know about the Holocaust.
