T Stands For Teacup Book Week 3

Bleubeard and I welcome you to another week of T Stands For Tuesday.  I thought my inability to leave comments had come to an end.  Once again, I'm having trouble leaving comments every so often on blogs with embedded comments.

This is the front of signature 3. Yes, there is a great deal of collage fodder in this one.  The tea cup was hard to cut because the sheet music was old and crumbly, something I didn't notice when I colored it.

This is the center two tea cups.  The cup on the right is sort of lost in the background fodder.

And finally, here is the back of signature 3.

Now it's time to please share your own drink related post.  It can be gifts you received, photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, mail art, junk mail, catalogs, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, handmade cards, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, a favorite mug, cup and saucer, teapot, coffee pot, or even a wine glass. Regardless, please join us by linking below.  Bleubeard and I will gladly visit, as will other T participants.  Please link only your T post and not your blog in general.  Bleubeard would like to remind you that old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year.  Please remember to visit your fellow T participants.

Bleubeard and I are also joining AEDM and

we are hosting Art Journal Journey with our themes Collage Fodder, Food and Drink, or both.

I'm enjoying seeing how your book is developing but I mainly wanted to come and thank you foryour visit to the Kew post when you've not been well. I can't believe it's your camera you're having trouble with again, that is really bad luck. Hope you can get it sorted so it keeps working. Take care.

Helen’s comment says you have been unwell… I wasn’t aware of this (must have missed something you said). I hope you will soon be entirely better! Enjoy all the teacups. And thanks for hosting the Tuesday Tea.

Your collage pages are very interesting. Your book will be so much fun to look through when finished.

I have no idea if comments are embedded on my blog. Dont have a clue, I won't worry about it though, I know you always comment if you can.

It´s a great idea, tea is music indeed. And it came out wonderfully.
Blogger, yes... I at times try also more than once. Or am "anonymous" and have to sign in with google account... Or it just hangs for hours (I just let it sit and sometimes it then works). And always save what you´ve written...

It is so frustrating, isn't it?
Sorry for your troubles.

Caitlin picked up COVID during her vacation, she thinks from her friend, and has been ill this weekend. No visits for us...

I hope you are feeling better now. It's no fun being sick.
In spite of that you have been working hard on your teacup book and it is coming on nicely. Very colorful.
Happy T-Day,

A tea cup book…a fun art book idea! I love your signarure 3 front tea cup the most. The paper was brittle and tore easily but it shows a tea cup from an era past. When china was broken and glued back together rather than tossed out. Not so disposable as everything so often is today.

I love how you incorporate so much of your work into a book, Elizabeth. It's a great way to keep it together.

Great pages, Elizabeth. I love all these cups. If you really think that the cup on the right is sort of lost in the background fodder, just use a while gel pen or a white Posca pen for the outline. Kisses, my friend.

Sorry to be so late. After food shopping yesterday I only had time to write my post before going for meal and to see The Lion King at the theatre with my youngest son. I knew I would love your next steps to your tea cup book. I am still having problems with commenting on some blogs- sometimes just one one post from a blog, hugs, Chrisx

My blogger commenting problem continues too but only with pop up comment forms like yours. Probably half the T blogs have similar, it's taking up to a minute for the form to load. Still looking after sick kitties, so I'm very late to the party. Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx
