I want to begin with my sincere condolences to my British friends on the passing of your beloved Queen. Her loss is being felt the world over.
It's Friday and time to join Friday Smiles which is hosted by Annie (at A Stitch in Time). Let's visit her and the other wonderful ladies who also share their smiles each Friday.
I actually published this two weeks ago, not realizing I had this ready. I was so stressed from losing my ability to take photos, I wasn't thinking clearly. Then I had Second on the 2nd last week, so this post is really, really late. When I realized I had published it, I pulled it right away.
EDIT: Looks like there is no Friday Smiles this week, even though I'm sure there are several of us who scheduled our posts. It appears this shed reveal has been put on the back burner.
Are you ready to see how I spent an entire week in the extreme heat of Kansas?
This is so much better.
I see I need to finish straightening this side of the room. We'll get back to that later.
Because this shelf is hard to see, I thought you might like to see my canning enamelware. Glass jars are in the two boxes under the canning equipment. The lids and rings are in the basement, where they can be kept dust free.
Everything is sorted by holiday. The boxes of games are for art. Not that I will ever use that many in my art.
I think after seeing those boards, I will take them inside and cut them into houses or blocks.
Turning to the south side, I decided to clean the garden tools up a bit more.
After seeing the finished photo, I decided to turn the vicious looking pitchfork around so it will look less vicious.
Thanks for visiting and spending a bit of time with Bleubeard and me this
Friday. Now PLEASE visit Annie and don't forget to start your weekend with a smile. Funnies to follow.
Have you had enough cat humor? Keep smiling and I promise not to show anymore!

that's some work on your shed! Happy Friday!
Cat funnies are always the best, and we thank you for the Saturday morning smiles. Those games had me excited, because I am into board games for sure. (lol) You did some great organization there, which makes it super easy to see where everything is. Kudos, and lots of hugs, RO
Hi Elizabeth. I came to visit as I have posted my blog anyway. It was ready before the news broke so I just edited it a little and went ahead. I have a feeling our lovely Queen would prefer to see us smiling and sharing happy memories, rather than weeping over her death. That is not to say some tears have not been shed. I had great respect for a beauitful lady in every sense of the word.
I liked seeing inside your shed. (I am glad you turned the pitchfork around!).
I don't think amny folk in UK do that sort of canning now, but my mum did and your photo took me straight back to our kitchen. My dad was a great gardener and mum canned (or bottled as we say in UK) a lot of his produce, and the bottles lined the cuboard storage space under the stairs and kept us going throughout the year.
I hope you have a great week.
You can find my post HERE Kate x
I'm with Kate though I have changed my original post. Our Queen will be much missed but I don't think she would want us to be unhappy for long. No matter what happened she always managed to find a smile. I must say it looks like you've been very busy in your shed and bet you're well pleased with what you've achieved. You have so many funnies today so I will pop back later to read them properly but thanks for the smiles as we need them today. Take care and have a lovely weekend. Hugs, Angela xXx
LOVE your shed! And the cartoons are a hoot.
Have an excellent weekend, dear Elizabeth.
nice collection of cattoons -- I like the idea of music made by one of those springy doorstops.

Yes, it is very sad about our beloved Queen, she was a very special lady and will be greatly missed.

I like your shed, and you've shared some brilliant cat funnies, thank you.
All the best Jan
