ICADs, 2022

This year ICADs 2022 is all about collage fodder.  There will be sewing (always using variegated thread), stencils, stickers, and stamping, but hopefully no glue or adhesive.

Besides, it's a short week, so this will complete week 1 at least.

Day 2: I started a series using wrapped gifts.  I layered a tag under the gift and painted cardstock.  I even did a bit of stamping.

Day 3: Another gift, the number 3, a bit of stamping, and a piece of tissue paper.

Day 4: Yet another gift, heart, two sentiments, stamping, and a sticker heart.

Thanks for taking time to visit this week.  If you have a blog and show your ICADs on it, please let me know in comments and I will drop by to visit.

Fun ICADS. I like the wrapped gifts. The bows are very cool, and I can't tell if they are stamped or drawn on. Either way they are eye catching. I'm off this morning to try to plant my veggies before the garden turns to weeds again (it took me the whole day Thursday to clean it out and yesterday it rained all day), and then I'll get to answering emails. I hope you have a great Saturday. Enjoy. Hugs-Erika

Hi Elizabeth,
On the subject of commenting and having comments not work: I just posted one way to try to overcome the problem:

I hope this helps some people. It may only be relevant on iPads and iPhones, but it is a start.

best... mae

These are so good... the stitching adds so much visually and texturally. I always love your ICAD season!

I still haven't got round to braving the sewing machine yet. We've got a friend coming to stay who is used to using one, so I'm hoping she'll give me a quick coaching session.

Love these!!! I don't have one favorite, but I do love those doodled gift boxes on some of the cards.
I just typed up my post to publish in a bit and remembered to come look for your ICAD post. And to my surprise you and I are on the same wavelength- using up collage fodder, and even stitching :):) Looking forward to following along with you.

I love your ICADs this year Elizabeth, quite a challenge to hold everything together with stitching! I did a lot of collage on mine last year but this year I have done something different which I think might appeal :) Elle/EOTC xx
