By now, I'm sure many of you know that Erika, aka BioArtGal, is our host this month at Art Journal Journey. Her theme is Let's Face It.
As you can see, this is She faced her fears.
I began this page by dyeing the 110 lb cardstock with staz-on reinker and 91% Isopropyl alcohol. I also dyed the lace, which was originally white, at the same time. I adhered a page from a book with German text, on top of which I placed the lace, then the image of the lady I found in my stash. I added the sentiment on top of the lace at the bottom.
Thank you beyond belief for visiting today. Bleubeard and I
are delighted you joined us and hope to see you at Art Journal Journey with your own take on Let's Face It. With Bleubeard's encouragement, I am slowly catching up to each of you I've missed who visited Art Journal Journey this month.

Wonderful page Elizabeth, love the pink lace, a great embellishment. Have a good, new week, hugs, Valerie
Stunning.
And how I wish I was brave enough to face my own fears.
I think she must have come out smelling like a rose when she faced her fears. What a beautiful page and that pink background is quite delicate and looks perfect for the face you used. I'd thought of that saying, as well as face the music. I didn't make one though, but now I am inspired so maybe still. Smile. I hope you had a great weekend. And thanks for joining in for my challenge. See you tonight for T. Hugs-Erika
Enjoy the Roku. It's a great little device, isn't it?
Her little head tilt makes me wonder... lol
I see Erika's comment about you getting a Roku device. We love ours! I hope you find it useful :)

Pretty page! :)
You make this sound simple Elizabeth but pages like this don't happen by accident! It is a truly lovely page - from your gorgeous pink background to the delicate pink lace and those well positioned hearts, not to mention that lovely image. This is a page that lifted my spirits! Big hugs, Chrisx
A very feminine page with a warrior spirit!
Love the background and the text you used with the pretty lace and the very pretty lady that I wish I knew who she was. We must always face our fears so we can move forward.

What a delightful page Elizabeth. The colour you have achieved with the reinker is lovely and the lace has dyed to the perfect shade. How lucky to have s0me pages from a book in German, I always think another language looks better than our own when used like this.
Your lady is very pretty and looks so tranquil now that she has faced her fears.
Hugs, Neet xxx
