Nature in motion

Today I'm joining Art Journal Journey and our host Mia, who many of you know as Craftartista.  As you may know, her theme this month is Butterflies.  I'm also getting in just under the wire at Try it on Tuesday who is also featuring Butterflies this fortnight.

This is my journal entry today.

 Nature

in

 motion.

I found this really great poster and cut it down to 8.5 X 11 inches (21,59 X 27,94 centimeters).  Even though it is a poster, it was not cardstock weight, so I attached it to a sheet of 110 lb cardstock using a glue stick.  I computer generated the words and sewed them to the page using variegated thread.

Thanks for dropping by today.  I am really grateful for your visit and also hope to see you on your blog or at Try it on Tuesday and Art Journal Journey

I adore butterflies. Ephemeral magic - which your journal page captures beautifully.

You created a great page from a beautiful poster, Elizabeth. Your idea to cut a piece of the poster and sew words on it, is really fantastic. I admire your mixed media style on this page. Thank you for the inspiration. And thank you for joining me at AJJ. Kisses, my friend.

Gorgeous poster, and I love what you did with it. I'd've been tempted to frame the poster lol but I'm glad you're brave enough to re-purpose.

A gorgeous page, it does have so much movement and I can imagine the butterflies fluttering around. So pleased you linked this to TioT's as well as the AJJ theme.
Stay safe.
