It's Thursday, so that means it's time to show my contribution to Rain's weekly Thursday Art Date. This week the theme is Cookies.
Most cookies I have would be associated with T Stands For Tuesday.
Here are some Snicker-doodles I made to go with my coffee. The "lid" is keeping my coffee hot.
When I want to drink my coffee, the lid becomes a holder. I love this mug I got when I graduated from grad school.
I actually do bake on occasion, as can be seen by these peanut butter cookies I made when I hosted an art date with friends.
Then there's the time a friend and I made 17 batches of cookies.
This is only a small portion of what we made that day.Now let's switch gears.
I created this cookies and milk journal entry for a challenge. If you can't read it, it is: After our nap, we get cookies and milk.
Finally, this Geisha girl inspired spread included two fortune cookie wrappers and seven fortunes.All photos were taken by me, all art created by me. Bleubeard wants to know when I'm going to bake some catnip cookies.

Cookies, always welcome and I will gladly take a nap if milk and cookies are promised. You can't go wrong with oatmeal and raisin. A very delicious spread today.

If DH walked into your home with all of those cookies laid out on the table , he'd probably think that he died and gone to heaven. lol That's a lot of cookies!! I'm going to be hungry for cookies after today's visits are done. We had some coconut macadamia cookies last night for dessert. I wished I still had some of the chocolate chip pecan cookies left but those went fast. :)

Hi Elizabeth-what a very fun post. when we were kids at home my Mom sister and I would bake up lots and lots of cookies too-bag them up and freeze for our lunches. I still love to bake cookies but just a couple batches now. that would have been a fun day baking with your friends.

Oh my Goodness, I am impressed. Home baked cookies ... My house hasn't seen those since my children were young, really young. I stopped baking all together because I, one of the family Cookie Monsters, would eat more than my fair share before the rest of the family came home from work or school. Somehow I can't resist when the smell is in the air. Somehow my body weight would increase any time I baked. I do love your Geisha's (and their fortune cookie fortunes). I always wanted to draw a Geisha ... maybe someday if Rain's prompt gives me reason. So what did you graduate in from Grad school?
I grew up around Grad Students, but never did my schooling that way. I went to college twice ... once when everyone else did and then again years later to study what I really wanted to study ... nursing. So glad all is well with you Elizabeth ... Stay well
