T Stands For One Final Entry From The Archives

I'm fairly certain this is the final entry from the archives.  I know why this one never made it into a T Tuesday post.  My friend Sally had two 2-for-1 coupons and they had to be used in the remaining two days of the month (November, if I recall correctly).  We had already used one coupon and were working on the second one.  I put this post away because I didn't want to have two posts from the same restaurant two weeks in a row.

The day before, we had been seated in a booth in the back.  This day we were at a table in the front.  Yes, that is snow in the parking lot.

I took photos of most of the menu, but decided to only show what I actually got.  No matter how hard I tried to get interested in something else, the No.2 was the only meal I cared for.

This was my meal.  It was the same one I had gotten the day before.  It is the one I order (or used to order) every time I went there.  I wonder if they are still in business.  Chinese restaurants have taken a big hit due in part to Trump insisting on calling the COVID virus, the China virus.

Now it's your turn to share a drink related post.  In case you don't know the rules, please link any post below that involves some form of drink.   That drink can be made from art, sketched, digital, hybrid, or traditional.  It can be a time when you were out and about, or a drink you had at home.  It can be in the form of a book you read, a postcard you received, scrapbook page you created, ad you found, or a movie you watched.   It doesn't matter as long as you can, in some way, tie it back to a drink.  After linking your post below (direct links only, please), Bleubeard, the T gang, and I will be by to visit and enjoy whatever you choose to share.  And remember, as Bleubeard would say, your photos may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday.  BE AWARE this link is only good until 12 a.m. my time on the 2nd of December.

Your food looks good, and although it's late night here, you've given me appetite, and now I have to go hungry to bed! And as for Trump....words - polite ones - fail me! happy T Day, stay safe, hugs, Valerie

That's a really retro Chinese midwestern US restaurant! Chinese restaurants have been making those dishes like chow mein and sweet/sour chicken for at least a century. Maybe you'd prefer some of the regional Chinese foods that were introduced since that era. I know I like flavors like Szechuan better than the Cantonese food back then.

I miss the days of going out to eat. We usually get the same thing when we go for Asian food also. WE got take out about a month ago, before covid blew out of control here. It was so good as I hadn't had Chinese food since new year's eve. And it would taste good now also. But not going out anytime soon. Hope you have a great T day and a nice start to the new month. Hugs-Erika

Your meal looks lovely. I think I would enjoy that too.
I am intrigued by those 'coupons'. We don't have those here. Where do you get your coupons? I remember you had one for your birthday. Do they send them to you?
I'll try not to forget second on the 2nd tomorrow.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

I always enjoyed Japanese or Chinese food but that's when we didn't live too far from Chicago-many many years ago-and there were so many to choose from. I think the Japanese were my favorites Happy T

I was so disappointed that at the beginning of COVID that all the Chinese restaurants in our area closed down. It took a very long time for them to open which meant I couldn't get Chinese on my birthday. Anyway, I am glad that they are finally opening again.
I loved seeing the pictures of your meal and outing. It looks delicious and makes me want Chinese food right now. YUM!
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

You made me laugh! Whenever, since the tender age of 14, I went to Da Nico I ordered a "Ten without Ham".
I always only managed to eat half of it (see my blog title)
It´s long not a #10 no more, but even my Mum once went there and ordered this.
They said: "Can get cold, right? Goes to Braunschweig, yes?".
And my Mum told me, she just SMILED.
I miss her. But you made me smile with this. Thank you.
Oh, my Brother did the same. Came here with a cold #10 (without ham) and the biggest boy-ish smile.
To T-days! Thank you for hosting this, you really helped me along the way. Especially since I lost my job.

Chinese food is always good. I haven't dined out or done take out since the covid-19 Lock Down began in Connecticut in March. They are now open at 50% capacity, but I'm not taking a chance. However, Doctors are urging our Governor to close the restaurants (and gyms) again, but he's ignoring them. Happy T-Day!

I imagine a lot of us miss going out for a meal. I enjoyed looking at your menu, I think I would like what you chose. Hope you are staying sane and well in this isolation.

I'll have the #3 please, although what I miss most is a Chinese buffet. I'm thinking we may never see buffets again :(

Happy T Tuesday!

We love Chinese food too and always have either Chinese Curry or Sweet & Sour - yum! We are actually having Chinese for dinner today too (grin). So lovely to see the restaurant and your meal looks delicious 😀. Wishing you a very Happy T Tuesday! Hugs, Jo x
p.s. sorry I haven't been visiting lately, last week I was suffering with bad migraines and couldn't cope with the brightness of the laptop screen so no blogging for me. I'm still not a hundred percent so I hope you don't mind that I probably won't be able to catch up on all the posts I missed. xx

I never have been fond of Chinese food. It always gave me a migraine after eating it. The MSG. With that said. This food looks so good. Mr. M. would love it.

The food looks delicious. Many restaurants are suffering. Do you think Chinese restaurants are suffering more than others? These are terrible times for everyone. 45% of Mexicans now live in poverty thanks to the virus and loss of jobs. The poverty rate has more than doubled since March. There's no safety net here.

I'm wondering what you'll share for the next however many months, now that you've exhausted your archives. I know you'll figure something out.

Happy T-day! Stay safe and well. Hugs, Eileen

Your meal looks delicious Elizabeth and I do hope that they stay open! I must say I usually chose the same thing when we go to a particular Chinese place. Oh! and toasted almonds should be on every meal!!! Take care, Hugs, Chrisx

We haven't had Chinese food in a long time. There was a little place that specialized in dumplings. That restaurant went out of business long before the Corona virus paid us a call. Your food looks so good and now I want some Chinese food.
