Monday Murals: Baxter (Slim) Stuber

It's time once again to join Sami at Sami's Colourful World and her Monday Murals.  Even though it's still Sunday in my world, please be aware that Sami's mural link goes live at 11:01 a.m. my time today.  My internet has been offline for nearly a day, so I hope to be back before Monday Murals goes live this morning.

From what little I can understand, this must be called Wichita, North End.

It was painted by Baxter "Slim" Suber in 2019

as part of the Summer Mural Jam in the North End

that was sponsored by the Horizontes Project.

From the little information I could find, Stuber is a colorblind graffiti artist.  The only quote I could find relating to him is: "Learn to adapt to your surrounds and the rest will fall into place."

This mural is located at the back of a building at 121 E 21st in Wichita, Kansas (USA).

If you enjoy murals from around the world, please don't forget to visit Monday Murals at Sami's Colourful World.  If you open your eyes, you'll stumble onto many, too.

How mural artists can produce such work always amazes.

Hope your power is back Elizabeth. I'm not sure this is my favorite mural you've ever shown, but the artist really like holes. Maybe they haven't done many billboards before. Hope it was a good weekend. Hugs-Erika

It's a bit like travelling into the unknown, by train. I like the way the blue sky appears through that hole.

For someone colourblind, the colours are well-chosen

I read first world end before I see it is worth end. For a colorblind artist it are indeed nice colors here. It gives you something to think on.
