T Stands For The (not so) Big Reveal

I sincerely hope those of you who swapped ATCs have received yours by now.  If not, you must use your discretion as to whether or not you want to share a photo of the ATC you sent your pay-it-forward partner.

I had planned this big reveal.

I made 30 ATCs, one for each and every person who has joined T Tuesday over the years.

I was so proud of these.  Unfortunately, before many of you received yours, the cat was out of the cup and the surprise was no longer a surprise.  The Big Reveal fizzled.

As many of you saw last week, this is basically what I sent to everyone.  I still have a few people to send to because I didn't have their mailing addresses.  And four are on their way as I write this.  Although everyone got ONE vintage postcard, I sent two to Lisca because she collects them.

One thing you didn't see last week and I don't show here, are the nine people to whom I sent a sheet of handmade paper.   I only had nine sheets completed when my blender stopped working.  Since I had to make an executive decision, send to all, send to none, or send to a few, I chose to send to the people who have been most caring, thoughtful, and generous with their gifts over the years.  These are the people who, over the years have sent me gifts that I can never in a million years return their kindness and unimaginable giving nature.  Feel free to share photos of your handmade paper.  It shows what a kind and caring person you have been to me.

Speaking of caring, I received these ATCs last week.

This is from Sharon, aka Foxy Stamping.  Don't you just LOVE the kitty on the postage stamp?  I love it.  So does Bleubeard.  And her card, which has SO much texture, was non-machinable.  It is gorgeous, too.  Of course, I think that looks like Squiggles on the adorable ATC.  Thank you SO much Sharon.  I can always count on you.

This is from the ever caring and thoughtful Linda K at heARTfully inspired.  I've received an ATC from her every year since we've started exchanging them.  Look at this card.  I love the bird and the gossamer ribbon she used, too.  And who wouldn't be inspired by the ATC she sent.  Thank you beyond belief Linda.  You are always so generous and giving.

Now it's your turn to share your T entry this week.  The rules are extremely simple.  Your drink related post may be anything from a photo of a glass, cup, or mug, to an actual drink.  You may choose to share a sketch or a digital, hybrid, or traditional page in your scrapbook, art journal, or altered book.  Maybe you'd prefer to share a tag, or wow us with your photography.  You might choose a postcard, decorated card, or magazine image.  You might even draw an image on a used tea bag.  Or perhaps you prefer to review a place you visited, a movie, or book.  It makes no difference as long as it's drink related.  And don't forget that the more unique and outside the box it is, the better we like it.  Please tie it back here, and please link only to your T post, not your entire blog.  When you link, Bleubeard, the T gang, and I will be by to visit.   Bleubeard would also like to remind you that your photos may be taken any time, even months or years ago, if you choose.

Before I forget, I need to remind you it's time to dig up your Second on the 2nd post. It can be any post, any genre, any length, as long as it's been published sometime in the past.

Hi Elizabeth, Happy T Day. I am happy to say I received my ATC and goodies from you this afternoon, but too late to add them to my post, so I will do that next week. Thanks for the goodies and the beautiful paper, much appreciated! I think our postman only visits every few days at the moment, all post is coming late. I got one letter today that was posted more than a week ago in Düsseldorf! Enjoy the goodies and ATCs you got from Linda and Sharon, so pretty! Time for bed here so I'll wish you a good night! Valerie

I am sorry the "cat was out of the bag" I was surprised when I saw that--stuff happens though-I love the atc you made very much and it's sitting on my desk to enjoy-the other goodies are with my papers stash.
Your atc's and gifts are lovely-I love that cat stamp too and haven't seen that one. I buy from the post office online too.
Hope you are getting a little cooler weather too-we were in the mid 80's today instead of the high '90s.
Happy T Kathy

What an amazing thing you did, Elizabeth. You must have worked months on this project. I can't wait to receive mine from you and hope you will soon have the one I sent you.

The ones you've received so far are lovely. This is so much fun! If only the mail were faster. No wait. We have email for speed. Snail mail is for delightful surprises that show up in our mail boxes when we least expect them.

Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

Happy T-day, Elizabeth. Your stitched ATCs are perfect! I am sorry the cat jumped out of the cup, but these things happen.
I still have not received an ATC from you, but I will be waiting and I will be soooo happy to receive it.
You are always caring and it is very kind of you to send paper to some people. It is a pity that your blender is out of order, but I am sure that these 9 people will appreciate your handmade paper.
Sharon and Linda sent you lovely ATCs. Enjoy!
Hugs, my dear friend, and I wish many-many more TSFTs to celebrate with you!

You received some beautiful cards and atc's this week. I apologize for spoiling your surprise. I suppose I should have read the fine print better. I don't get many packages so I got a little excited. Regardless, your atc's are beautiful and I am sure everyone found them special.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

I didn't know the cat was out of the bag until I read this post. That is very nice of you to send something to all of the T-Gang participants. (I suspect mine is in transit somewhere in the mail system.) I'll be back later to leave comments for everyone. (I'm late again.) Happy T-Day!

Your ACT's are wonderful. I know everyone is going to treasure them. I Wasn't able to make it to participate in today's tea party but I am going to make some visits to those who did. I am unsure you got my email as I sent it from a different address (I've changed email addresses). Have a wonderful day.

Elizabeth; what a wonderful idea; sharing all of these art pieces with your friends and receiving in return !! and all the pieces sent and received are really really awesome ☺☺☺. a gal here at work makes her own what I like to call 3D cards and they are far better than anything one would find in the store; of course the tabbies think the kitty in the cup is the cat's MEOW !! :) ☺☺♥♥

Beautiful gifts you received Elizabeth. Love the cat stamp. Just recently Australia had a set of cat stamps, they were my favourites.

Your parcel has arrived! Thank you so much! I waited with my comment until I had checked my po box.
I am so pleased with all the wonderful things you sent me. In particular the two vintage postcards. I will treasure the little ATC with the cat and the cup (with caroussel horse).
Seven years! That is a long time and I thank you for keeping this blog going through thick and thin and many internet problems, your accident and one or two crises. (bowing and taking imaginary hat off).
I am mighty impressed with your home made paper, and I am already thinking of things I can do with that. And of course the bits of ephemera are fun. The serviette is great as 'fiesta' is the Spanish word for party, something we cannot do at the moment as all the fiestas have been cancelled. But I have the serviette.
You, yourself have been spoilt too with a lovely envelope of goodies in the post.
Again, I thank you so much for my lovely T-present.
Have a good T-Week (lol),
Lisca
