T Stands For You Shouldn't Have

Today I have received

gifts from around the world.

I swear dear sweet ladies, you should NOT have done this.  You are all too kind.  Please note the stacked tea cups with the darling bird on top stamped on the envelope.  This is one of my T Tuesday references today.

I decided to open them in the order in which they were received.  However, I was already having trouble getting into this one

sent to me by Caty from Almeria, Spain.

She even sent me a postcard that showed some of the sights in her town.   Of course, there were pages of oriental text, lovely cards, and several beautiful napkins/serviettes.

Then there were the beautiful crocheted items, some wooden bits,

a wooden image from her town I can use in my 7 Continents altered book, and of course, an adorable envelope holding an ATC.

Then there were postage stamps galore, and an incredible note written on the back of a frame worthy piece of mixed media

that I fell in love with.

Caty also sent me an ATC that was similar to the one she sent Lisca, her PIF recipient.  Your generosity is incredible, dear Caty.

Next came a beautiful box filled with goodies from Mia.  I believe Erika received something similar.

Did you notice this gorgeous cup of coffee (or tea, if you prefer) she sent?  Of course, she also sent some darling items I can use on my mixed media entries, as well as some crocheted items.  Under the cup was a roll of beautiful decorative purple ribbon.

Also included were several packages of Kopeli green tea, flavored with hibiscus and cinnamon.   Yet another reference to T this week.  Of course there was some expensive white gouache, along with washi tape.

More ribbon and washi tape, as well as some lovely fabric cut into circles were included.  Not to be forgotten are the darling wooden images to which Mia added her great hand sewing.  Thank you beyond belief, Mia.

The final envelope came from my dear friend Chris.  She never fails to surprise me with her generosity and kindness.

Look at all the paper goodies she sent, including these tiny images of people, a train ticket, a postcard, a tag, and some ribbon.

Also included were a sheet of Leonardo images,

a napkin/serviette, decorative tissue paper,

washi tape,

and some beautiful words and sayings on translucent parchment type paper.

Finally, Chris sent me an ATC, nearly identical to the one she sent Caty her PIF recipient.  I'm SO grateful, Chris.  Words can never express how grateful I am that you never forget me.

I had already scheduled my T Tuesday post when this and another package came in the mail as I was unloading groceries.   Don't you just LOVE those postage stamps?  I quickly photographed it, even before notifying the sender, Eileen I had received it.  I am always SO afraid my internet will go offline, or my electricity will go out and I'm in the middle of scheduling or writing my T post.

I saw the beginnings of this triptych last week at Eileen's.  She explained how it was to be shown accordion style, so that's how I am showing it.  She also sent some adorable bits, words, definitions, and lovely stickers I can use in my art.

In case you can't read it
Celebrate 6
years traversing the world
4 tea
Thank you beyond belief, Eileen.

I was sure I had taken a photo of the adorable envelope that came with this gift from Lisca.

Beautiful handmade paper covered these goodies.

Wonderful ribbons, lovely floral embellishments,

and gorgeous flowers on handmade paper were just some of the goodies.

Absolutely fabulous, Lisca.

Thank you beyond belief for this incredible postcard, too.  I wish I'd had more time to share and show all the darling goodies these two ladies sent me, but I am already late.  The lessons learned from a few weeks ago still loom large.

It's now time for you to share your own T inspired party.  Your T post can include gifts (or ATCs) you received, photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, mail art, junk mail, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink.  Regardless, please share below and Bleubeard and I, along with the rest of the T gang will be by to visit.   Please link only your T post and not your blog in general.  Old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year.  My apologies for being a half hour late today.  I'm sure you'll agree it was worth it.

Thank you for alerting me to the fact that my post was not visible. How strange. I don't know what happened there. I have reposted it and I hope it isd visible now.
I apologise.
So glad you found my ATC. For a moment I started to doubt myself and thought I'd forgotten to add it. But all is well. Phew!
I really appreciate you hosting the T party. You do it so faithfully, through rain and shine and through ups and downs, and a few disasters to boot.
Three cheers for Bluebeard and Elizabeth!

You deserve everyone of these gifts, Elizabeth. You make such generous and thoughtful comments on our blogs and run so many challenges and blog gatherings. I would love to join in your T-parties but at the moment I don't have time to comment on all the entries. So can I just say "Happy T-day and every other day".

Wow, Elizabeth, you received so many lovely goodies in the mail. That was so thoughtful of them. The pumpkins (napkin I think) made me think of Halloween. (I know it's still months away, but it's one of my favorite holidays.) I love that carousel horse postcard. The handmade paper is lovely. Fantastic artwork from everyone. Happy T-Day! (I'm late today, and will be back later today or tomorrow to leave comments for everyone.)
