What's On Your Workdesk this 473rd Wednesday: Playing hide and seek
As I'm sure you know, WOYWW is the brainchild of our desker Queen Julia, our beloved host at Stamping Ground.
I'm showing the back of this quiltlet, a REALLY belated Christmas present, because it's a gift for a friend who reads my blog. Thus the reason for hiding it.
Yes, I also staged and hid the book, because images from it will also be used as I create the quiltlet. Note also the tiny rocking horse clothes pins.
On the left, you can see one of the rockers has walked away. I wondered where it was hiding. In the middle, I tried to show the size of the clothes pins and rockers. On the right you can tell I've corralled the errant rocker, and must glue it back in place. Now you see why I can claim I own over 460 rocking horses. They can be functional as well as decorative!
Thanks for visiting today. Your visit is always welcome, even though I can't leave comments to those on some G+ blogs, Instagram, Tumblr, and Facebook. For everyone else, I'll be by to visit and if you are coming from Julia's, please leave your number.

Well I never! Where on earth did you find those rockers? They are wonderful and I can imagine them being used to peg clothes on the line - a row of rockers! Sounds good to me.
Good luck with the quiltlet - hope we get to see it at some time.

Good Morning...Oh the guilt I feel when I see a sewing machine. Have so many ideas and just haven't had the spunk or fire to tackle that new one I have. "Computerized" mistake ! But I've had enough other things to keep me occupied. Some time email me your mailing address, when I find a small rocking horse or 2 in my rubble I'll mail it too you. I am weeding out ALL unused treasures !!! I've kinda boxed up my collections...so many and when I am done gathering I'll re locate a few of them within our home. Bugs, Heat, standing Water, closed windows, have created a weird summertime here. I think all of the states have had extreme things this year. Fires, Water, winds, political messes, but I keep praying ! Have a good week and Happy WOYWW
Love the little rocking horse pegs and I’m really hoping to get to see the quilt when it’s finished.

A quintet in progress, how lovely! As we’re at the half way point, you could call it an early Christmas gift really! I spot a postcard of London scenes, postcards are still amongst my favourite sort of mail! I like the rocking horse pegs, they are very little - nice to collect something that can be used as well as making a nice display, huh.
WOW.. you even own rocking horse clothes pins! They look great!
Happy day my dear Co.-Admin!
Hugs, Susi

Hi Elizabeth & Bleubeard, those clothes pins are a delight though I can't see you using them to hang anything out on a line with them, especially if the rocking horses have a tendency to go walkabout, or should that be rockabout! Look forward to seeing the finished quilt project. Elizabeth x #32
