This week at Journal 52, Chelle's prompt was Under the Sea.
I'm calling this one Carp Diem.
Technically, this is a carp,
and this is a perch. Both rubber stamps are from River City Rubber.
I used the numbers to signify an imaginary parallel line, as well as the week number.
For materials to create Carp Diem, I used a file folder cut in half, paint, various parts (oceans) of a map, number stickers, and two rubber stamps. I hope you like my take on Under the Sea, because this is the only place you will see

Wow Elizabeth. I love this page and your clever title. Those fish stamps are perfect for this theme as are your map pages. Thanks for catching up on my blog. I appreciate every word. So I am anxious to hear about making washi tape. I admit I buy mine and use it as is! You always have such great ideas.
The sea is always a favorite theme of mine which is funny since I don't particularly like the water, as in oceans or seas. I don't swim and get seasick! :)
Your pieces in so creative and the title just makes me smile.
I'm making good progress on the kitchen, taking advantage of the good weather with lower humidity.
Great theme and your carpe diem creation is just wonderful E!
You made me giggle out loud
AND
those fish stamps really are just the ticket!

Love this...esp the title..very clever. Love a good ...or even bad pun. ;)
Nice rendition of the theme. Are you journaling on the pages you make for Journal 52? I am trying to force myself to journal vs diary entering!
Great piece...and very amusingly titled.
