T(ea) Stands for a very long post

I apologize this post is so long.  It was taken over two different time periods.  When I changed cameras, I needed to remove the photos from the SD card before I used it in my new camera.  I found over 300 photos on it.  I couldn't believe it, because I'm always so good about taking photos off my camera.  But (confession time, I fear), I left all the photos on the camera from when Sally and I have gone to lunch together.  Some date back to early autumn.  So over the next few weeks, I'll probably inundate you with places Sally and I have been to lunch.  Today is no different.

This photo was taken not long after I got my new camera when my friend Sally and I went to Legends, a restaurant in an airport hotel.  This was our second visit and I really love their food.
If you want a laugh, check out the first time we went, because I was using my original camera and you couldn't even read the menu.  It will soon be evident we went the second time on Wednesday, because the menu was Mediterranean.

Coffee for me, soup, salad, and pita chips made up my first course.  Sally had some kind of pop/soda/cola and you can also see my legs covered by my dress.  Yep, I'm a dress gal when the weather is nice.

Sally ignored the salads and soup, and went straight for the entrees.

You can see a small part of the well appointed buffet,

which extended as far at the eye (or camera) could see.

And people say I don't take photos of myself.  That's a rather unflattering one taken in the reflection of the right steam table.

I won't bore you with details of cabbage rolls, saffron rice, and veggies, but

go straight to the art,

the flowers,

and obviously autumn decorations.

The third time we went to Legends was last Thursday.  Sally wanted Italian, and I told her I was taking her, since she has taken me to lunch twice since I've taken her.  This time we were seated in a very different area, so I didn't have a chance to take photos of the decorations in the main section.

I'm surprised this photo turned out as well as it did, because I had it on tulip (or close-up) mode when I took it.  I couldn't figure out how to turn off that mode, since I had only used the camera twice at that point, the first time was last Tuesday when I took my WOYWW photos.

I like how they used the lifts to add different heights to the decorations.  They do a good job with their decorations, that's for sure.  Taken on the wrong setting, this looks like a photo I might have taken using my old camera!

By the time I figured out how to get the camera off close-up mode, they were out of cheese manicotti, the one thing I could eat, other than veggies and garlic toast.

Sally went straight for the main course and desserts, while I

ate lots of veggies and soup.  Note the big container of coffee the waiter left, too.  Very gratifying experience once again, even without the manicotti.  One can always fill up on soup and salad if they put their mind to it.

What have you experienced this week?  Did you have coffee, a cold soft drink, or maybe hot chocolate while you were out?  Did you fix something interesting at home?  Feel free to share your experience.  When you do, please use your permalink and link below to join us.  Bleubeard and I will be by, along with other Tuesday T(ea) friends.

Well, you have managed to make me hungry again despite the fact that I have had my dinner an hour and a half ago! :) I'm def. NOT a dessert person but the vegetarian foods look really yummy. I'll be sipping lots of hot tea the next few days as yet again our temps are to plummet and feel like 10-18 degrees F below zero-yikes!! And to think I have two appts. tomorrow which I must keep...

Hello and Happy T Day!! What a pretty place to eat, so glad it's gone well for you there. The food looks amazing and I love buffet tables.
How awesome that you are a dress girl, I would be too if I could find the right kinds to wear. You should hand the camera to Sally next time and get a picture for us.
Great pictures from your visits, you are so good at that.

I still can't post pictures but I do have a post up on what's been going on around here. It was actually fun to write.

The kids were home yesterday and will be again today and probably tomorrow. This has been a crazy weather and off month ever. Hoping February will be so much better!
Take care and hope it's warm there for you.

It is always fun to go out for a meal with a friend and nice when you find someplace you like enough to return to. Seems like you are enjoying that new camera.

Looks like a nice place--very clean and well lit and decorated. I'm sure the food is as good as it looks since you have been there multiple times.

As an aside, the long shot of the restaurant looked almost exactly like a restaurant chain here in the East called, Ruby Tuesdays, but I don't think they are owned by the same company--just a coincidence!

Happy Tuesday!

thank you
and please accept my sincere apology as I get to know you better :)

Nice to hear you have had a happy foodie experience after the last one I saw you post about. That food looks scrummy.
For me, I judge a restaurant by their Sticky Toffee Pudding! Don't laugh but if it is no good I don't go back!! LOL! I made it myself for the first time at Christmas and quite frankly I prefer my own!
