Merry Christmas! If you celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or simply attend a mosque (because Muslims have no holiday that corresponds to those of Christians and Jews), I hope you have a remarkable and enjoyable December 25th. I know Julia at Stamping Ground, our brave leader will be here, sharing the fun, frolic, and a bit of voyeurism like the rest of us.
I admit this and the photo directly below were taken Saturday afternoon (sorry, same rocking horses you've seen before),
but I assure you, it still looks the same today. I cleaned the room, changed the disgusting rosin paper that protects the table, closed the door, and walked away from art for a few days so I could (hopefully) entertain out-of-town guests. I know you're going to ask why there is a sheet of 12" X 12" white scrapbook paper sitting on top of my craft sheet.
It's because once my guests have gone home and I have finally opened this gift from Bleubeard I got back in November, my craft room table will be ready for me to play with my new toy.
If you're coming from Julia's please leave your number. It's always appreciated and so much easier to find you. And here's to a Merry Christmas for those who celebrate it.

Morning Elizabeth and Happy Christmas to you. It has just gone 4am here in the UK and I can't sleep as usual and also as it is Christmas, what am I like? Big Kid!
No sign of Mrs Julia's link as yet either and I checked back on the posts and she says there will be, so glad you are there too.
Glad you like the Alpha book. It made me smile yesterday as I recalled the first year long challenge I did was your Altered Book Course. As that was on the Seasons I have been opening it up on the appropriate pages all year displayed on my shelf.
My current year long challenge has been the 12 months in view but that started with Spring in March so has a couple of months to go yet.
But there again there have been the past 2 years of Timmy tags aswell (Must bind this year's today)
And next year I am going to do The Documented Life Project, have you seen that one? http://serendipitystudios.squarespace.com/
All lovely mementos. And guess what I couldn't resist at the craft shop the other day? It was a stamp and you know I'm not a stamper but it made me think of you. Yes a rocking horse stamp!
Happy Christmas Elizabeth. - BJ#?
I have been too busy sampling the bounty of the season but tripper is sending the best of good mousing and cuddles to Bluebeard.

Oh I can't wait to see what amazing paper/pages/backgrounds you make with Bleubeard's well thought pressie! I too am waiting for Julia to get up and go live with WOYWW then it's off to sleep for me. The girls are snoring already so I'll say...Merry Christmas and warm hugs from the FL GIRLS! Nan (no # yet)
I got number 4. Waited 2 hours and you pipped me to the post. My laptop refused to load the page and I had to resort to my new tablet and I'm not so quick on that! Still up alone this Christmas Morning. HUGS BJ#4
Good morning! Well, here anyway :) What a fab gift! You will have loads of fun with it I promise you :) Every house should have at least one...
Happy WOYWW Christmas!
Mary Anne (waiting for the family to rise at #7)
Happy Christmas, Elizabeth. Trust this will be - is being - a great day for you and your family and friends. What a clever puss to think of getting you your gelli plate. Enjoy!
Thanks for already visiting. Hubby made the nativity set some years back - OOOooooh!! - what do I mean "some" - it was over 15 years ago!!! We use it every year as the centre of our Christmas celebrations. The HUGE angel (she stands over two feet tall) I bought in a craft hypermarket in Vancouver 16 years ago when we visited there and the Rockies. My present to myself on a very special holiday. I dressed her - and she also comes out each year.
Have a great holiday.

Morning! happy Christmas! I can't think of a more perfect present for you..the gelli plate will! I'm sure! keep you busy for absolutely ages!
Dropped by to wish you a blessed Christmas! I've enjoyed dropping by and experiencing a warm welcome every time I visit. Isn't it grand that we live so far from each other yet we are able to see what each other is up to with just one click? The world is certainly changing!
Happy Christmas Elizabeth, and a big purr to Bleubeard. I keep looking at the gelli plates, seeing such great things done with them, but I know what I'm like- have to have something, then it spends 12 months in its box waiting for me to get round to it! Warmest Christmas hugs, Shaz #14 xxx
Happy Christmas Elizabeth. Love your very clear desk today ... just as it should be! And Bleubeard got you a present??? Must have words with The Boss ... we clearly missed a trick there :) Have a wonderful day. Elizabeth x #13
PS: I put the rocking horse in the montage especially for you :)
Clever old Bleubeard!! What an awesome puss cat, getting you that Gelli plate. You see, we think that cats don't pay attention, but he's obviously been making notes ;-)
Dearest Elizabeth, thank you so much for all the wonderful comments and support over the past year..it really means a huge amount. May the fun continue throughout 2014!!
Hugs, LLJ 15 xx
Hello There! I knew why there was a blank piece of cardstock there--it was waiting for you to come play! I just didn't know what you were playing with. Have a lot of fun with it and your nice clean room. Put your feet up by that heater and have a dandy time! I'm aiming for a low-key day myself. Judy #22

I asked for a Gelli plate for Christmas, but daughter didn't know what it was! LOL I will spend some of my gift money for one! :)Thanks for stopping by earlier.
Good luck with the Gelli plate. It looks so easy on line, but I found it a bit challenging.
Merry Belated Christmas and Happy Boxing Day. I hope you have fun with your new toy. And thank you for visiting me earlier. April #36
I absolutely love the angel journal pages in the next post it's beautiful. A gelli plate how exciting, you will love it, I have only had mine a few months and still learning lol. Hope you had a lovely day. Happy Christmas Woyww :-) Kezzy xxxxx
Hello Elizabeth, sorry I'm so late stopping by. It's been so hectic where I am, but I was determined to leave you a comment, as I do love your posts! Thank you for stopping by my blog. I know what you mean about True Colors not being the text to go to for in depth info about techniques. Luckily I did just want it as a jumping off point, a stimulus and it is a feast for the eye so I am very happy with it. What a kind little cat Bleubeard is to give you a present. Daisy, for some reason, has decided she will give no gifts. Must have a word with her about that one! Julie Ann xx
Love that the clever bluebeard sends you gifts! Can't wait to see what it is, and what you might do with it!!!
Thank you for linking me- I couldn't work out how to do it on my phone! I got home from my brother's to find the ceiling still up (thank goodness!!) so finally I can rest.... I hope you and Bleubeard had a happy Christmas and that you enjoy your fab present from him! Helen 6,
oooooooh! Gelli - I really neeeeed one of those as well! Have fun playing with your new toy :o)Annie #35 xxx
Hey #!- thanks for visiting and inviting me into your tidy space!
It's the holiday season- so be as merry as you can !
Blessings,

Looking forward to your gelli creations. xox
Happy Holidays to you and Bluebeard! How is it you are making it to #1 a lot recently! I am jealous but then you have to post before Friday to get to #1 methinks! Hope to see more of you in 2014! Vickie #39
I can't wait to see what you do with your new toy, lots of yummy pages I'm sure. Enjoy it and please share it with us when done!! You have shown great will power waiting to open this!!
Reading this reminded me of your comment on my space. I do hope to organize it better, purge a little more and keep it cleaned up so I can find things easier. Also want a vision/inspiration board on the wall above my table and some of the fun things I get from my readers. I only have that small wall to work with but want to make a change finally with it. Could take me months but hope to get it there. Would be great if we had a basement or an extra room for me to use.
I take it Bleubeard knows what he bought you back in November - and that he has not to touch it himself. Of course he does, he is the most intelligent cat I know of, silly me.
Glad you had visitors over the festive period. Sorry I am so late in writing but I was treated so royally over the two days of Christmas that it went straight to my head and I have been lording it ever since.
My very best wishes to you and Bleubeard for a wonderful 2014.
Hugs, Neet xx
ps the serviettes had little butter knives on them
