Buried treasure

As a collaboration with Seth Apter and about a gazillion other artists, I decided to participate in his "Buried Treasure" collaboration. The rules are simple and few. Per Seth:

"On Thursday July 16 all participating bloggers will re-post one (or more) of
their favorite posts from their blog."

In that spirit, I wondered what post had generated the most comments and found my basement reveal was one that lots of people liked.

As far as art goes, this is one of my favorite assemblages, and it got only one comment. So, I hope you will take a look and leave a comment if you like it:

The following post got no comments, and I also thought these pages I made for a friend were really fun and art worthy:

I hope you enjoy these trips down blogger memory lane. If this is your first time to my blog, thank you for visiting. I hope to get to all the collaborative artists blogs today, but if I don't, I'll get there before the end of the week.

Thanks go to Seth for all the hard work he has put into this project. It can't be easy for him to keep track of e-mails and blogs and links and all. Thank you Seth for all you do for the blogging community.

Hi Elizabeth ! It was fun to share buried treasures with you ! Your studio reveal was very inspiring !!! I am working on giving all my toys a place of their own so I can get to them quickly in the midst of art making - your space is soooo organized !
Love the idea of a Hand AB - there are so many wonderful images of those wonderful tools to fill the pages !
Cheers !

I left a comment on your Asian Beauty because, well... I have a thing about Oriental art and Kanji calligraphy. I really want to know which of your blogs you spend the most time on - if it's this one - fine - I'll subscribe. If there's any more Oriental themes in the offing, I want to know. Also, if you don't mind, I would like a SNAIL MAIL addy, please. 'Altered' envelopes are my thing, and I'm working on the 'creation' of a city-state where I get to do all the art work, and I'm intending to do it based on a 'Day Out of Time'. If you don't know what that is, I'll explain in the email.

ddcachets@gmail.com Glad I found you!

It's so true, that people LOVE to look at studios! Your basement studio pictures are cool.

And I think you did Kelly Rae Roberts well, with your assemblage for Halle. I love that. Really nice.

Off to read the other posts...
