This is my final entry for the Patriotic stick-ins. Thankfully, all of these are the same, therefore, only one photo.
I started by downloading the image from Linda Findley's blog. She often generously provides freebie downloads and I took advantage of this one, because it looked so patriotic.
I printed this image in CA on my friend Joseph's new printer. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with the images, so I sprayed them with a sealer and it turned them transparent. Instead of putting some glaze over the image (which was my first thought), I decided I liked the see-through look.
The background is made from original vintage sheet music, to which I added dye ink in three of the colors from the picture. Yes, they are a lot different from the others, but that's me: no set style!!

This turned out sooooooooo cool ... what kind of sealer did you spray with I love the idea of turning it into a transparency ..... Linda F
