Old friends, new vehicles

Because it's Friday, I'm joining Nicole for Friday Face-Off and Gillena for Art For Fun Friday.

My good friend Joseph

met with my good friend Scott

and they decided to stop by to visit me.

They both had

new to them

vehicles.  This is Scott's and wow is it big.

The one in the driveway was given to Joseph by his father, who no longer drives.  Since Joseph takes him to all his appointments, his dad thought it would be a nice gift.

Joseph got a personalized vanity plate.  He took a photo to show me.

Here it is up close.  I'm sure several of you know that Joseph plays steel drums, also known as pans.  Many of his pans were made specifically by Ellie Mannette, the father of the modern steel drum.  They are signature series pans.  Mannette is widely credited with developing and refining the steel pan and its tuning.
