It's Friday and time for ICADs. I'm joining Nicole for Friday Face-Off and Gillena for Art For Fun Fridays along with Tammy Garcia at Daisy Yellow (Index-Card-A-Day). It's also Juneteenth, a Federal holiday to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States.
Day 13: Dance. Background is encyclopedia. Red, blue, and green dry erase colors. Postage stamp from Christmas 2000. Names in purple Micron pen.
Day 14: Fancy. Background is Russian text. Blue dry erase color. International (French) postage stamp. Names in blue felt tip pen.
Day 15: Map. Background is crossword. Blue and green dry erase colors. Postage stamp is 150th anniversary of Lewis and Clark expedition. Names in green felt tip pen.
Day 19: Justify. Background is sheet music. Blue and green dry erase colors. Postage stamp is Thomas Jefferson. I would like Jefferson to justify how he could be the primary author of such an eloquent document as the Declaration of Independence and still hold slaves including one, Sally Hemings, with whom he more than likely had sexual relations and fathered her child, Eston Hemings. Our names in blue felt tip marker.
I'm
creating ICADs but am not on the sites where Tammy posts. Therefore,
this is the only place you will find Bleubeard's and my ICADs.
Thanks for visiting today. Bleubeard and I hope to see you at these art blogs, too. We are delighted you dropped by.
Friday Smiles will be posted this afternoon.
