In the clouds

 

Now that my herbs and veggies are finally planted, I can turn my attention to Art Journal Journey, and my dear friend and host this month, Mia who can be found at Craftartista.  As you can tell, Mia's theme for May is Birds. 

I call this In the clouds.  A detail of the bird is below.  The sentiment reads "Her head was in the clouds."

 

I have no idea what the bird species is, but she is a beauty.  And because the bird has a face, I'm also sharing this with Nicole and Friday Face Off.
