It's hotter than hot here. Yesterday (Saturday), the last time I checked, it was over 90 F (32.22 C) and we still hadn't reached the hottest part of the day. We went from winter to summer and skipped spring altogether. Thankfully I have AC, or I (and my electronics) would be melted.
Today I'm once again at Art Journal Journey (AJJ) with a journal page for my friend Chris, this month's host. She can be found at PearShapedCrafting. Her theme is Spring Forward.
I began by fussy cutting the woman, a magazine image from my stash. I adhered her slightly off center to a 5.5 X 8 inch (13.97 X 20.32 centimeter) sheet of 110 lb. cardstock. I added the washi tape. The tape on the right has three layers, the tape on the left, only one. Above the left washi tape, I wrote the words Flower Girl in black ink. I then added flowers to her head and both shoulders. I also adhered a butterfly with flowers. Finally, I placed a stem of spring flowers in her mouth. All flowers were see-through stickers I found in my stash.Thank you beyond belief for visiting today. Bleubeard and I would be thrilled to see you at Art Journal Journey with your own interpretation of Spring Forward.

Perfect image of spring, I always like that you also analyze for us the way you created the image!!
