T Stands For Pumpkin Spice

I'm back in my kitchen with another drink.

What is it about this time of year that pumpkin becomes so popular?

It seems everywhere I look, pumpkin is on the scene.  This protein drink could be a meal in itself, but I'm trying to get my strength back.  It's very low carb, to which I'm trying to be mindful.

I have another croissant, this one filled with basil from my garden that I added to my homemade chicken salad.  I used Ranch dressing instead of mayo.  I'm also going to pour the dressing on my green salad that includes cherry tomatoes from my garden.

Now it's your turn to share your T entry this week.  The rules are extremely simple.  Your drink related post may be anything from a photo of a glass, cup, or mug, to an actual drink.  You may choose to share a sketch or a digital, hybrid, or traditional page in your scrapbook, art journal, or altered book.  Maybe you'd prefer to share a tag, or wow us with your photography.  You might choose a postcard or decorated card.  You might even draw an image on a used tea bag.  Or perhaps you prefer to review a place you visited, a movie, or book.  It makes no difference as long as it's drink related.  And don't forget that the more unique and outside the box it is, the better we like it.  Please tie it back here, and please link only to your T post, not your entire blog.  When you link, Bleubeard, the T gang, and I will be by to visit.   Bleubeard would also like to remind you that your photos may be taken any time, even months or years ago, if you choose.

I noticed a few years ago as the fad was developing that foods/beverages labeled “pumpkin pie spice” do not necessarily contain pumpkin: just the traditional spice blend. I looked up your drink, and it’s made of milk protein and water and a lot of nutrients but not a bit of pumpkin. Nothing wrong with that — It’s just how they do it. I hope it helps you get your health to return to normal.

There really is a lot of pumpkin going around this time of year. When I shop at Trader Joe's there are so many pumpkin items. I hope your drink was delicious and you will regain your strength.
