Modern Milly

 

Today I'm back at Art Journal Journey joining our host Mia who can be found at Craftartista.  Her theme this month is Make your own background.  I'm also sharing this with Nicole's Friday Face Off because there is a face in this post.  

I give you Modern Milly.  Detail images are below.

Modern Milly was created using black ransom type letters.  I have no step-out photos of how I created the background.  I created the background by placing three colors of fluid acrylics onto an ice cream lid.  Then I blew up a balloon and ran it through the two green colors.  After I used all the greens, I cleaned the balloon and dipped it in the blue.

I used another TH paper doll, as well as the ransom letters.  As I said before, I want to keep the focal image simple because the focus should be on the background.
