I recently headed back to The Spice Merchant for my "free" pound of coffee. For those who don't know, I spend an obscene amount of money every year to sponsor all nine British TV shows on PBS (The Corporation For Public Broadcasting). In exchange, I get a free mug every year, Passport, the streaming movies, documentaries, etc. service from PBS (like Netflix or Hulu, only cheaper and family friendly, for the most part), and my pound of coffee a month for 12 months.
I know how much Lisca and some of you like puzzles, and this is what I found when I walked into The Spice Merchant a few weeks ago.
I was really taken by that heart puzzle. I would hate to have to dust all those boxes!
Speaking of boxes, I got a laugh from several of these new mugs. Personally, I think "Dance like no one is watching" is spot on! These hilarious and sarcastic mugs are made by a small company call "Dirty MUD."
EDIT: Melody Jacobs asked: "What kind of coffee do you usually pick up with your free pound?"
Dark Sumatra. I used to buy French Roast and one time tried Dark Sumatra. I was hooked. Much bolder than French Roast. I like my coffee strong and darkly roasted.
I've shown you mine, nowit's time to share your own drink
related post. It can be
photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, books, sketches, mixed
media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is
digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back
to a drink, any drink. Regardless,
please share below and Bleubeard and I will gladly visit, as will other T
participants. Please link only your T post and not your
blog in general. Bleubeard would like to remind you that old
photos are acceptable because they may be taken
any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year. Please remember to visit your
fellow T participants.
Don't forget to dig up your Second on the 2nd post. The only rule is it must have been published sometime in the past.
Fabulous puzzles and the mugs really made me smile 😊. I agree the dance like no one is watching is spot on. Sending you very Happy T Day wishes! Hugs, Jo x
I like the dark yellow mug about the lemonade. Ha ha. I probably wouldn't want vodka but I can think of a few other additions. :) I actually like the Grateful Dead bear mug on the second puzzle photo too. And like you, I like the heart puzzle. It looks like you had a fun visit to the Spice Merchant. Thanks for taking us along. Happy T day. hugs-Erika
That heart puzzle made of boxes is quite the sight; you're right about the dusting! And those "Dirty MUD" mugs are hilarious. "Dance like no one is watching" really does hit the mark.

I wonder what's gonna happen to PBS now int's defunded. No more sponsorship, no more 'free' pound of coffee. I love those mugs by the way. All those quotes are really spot-on. Those are lovely puzzles! Yes, I like the heart one too. But they do look rather small. The umbrella one is colourful too. Happy T-Day, Lisca
Coffee for a whole year? Wow! I need to contribute to PBS. I have talked about PBS once in this post: <a href="https://mvmaithai.blogspot.com/2013/08/sichuan-eggplant.html”>Sichuan Eggplant or Eggplant with Spicy Garlic Sauce (鱼香茄子) </a>
Hah, dear Elizabeth – I nearly missed T-Day! 😅 Yesterday it was still on my mind, and today… poof, gone – until I saw Sharon’s post! But here I am, fashionably late 😉 I had such a good laugh at the cheeky sayings on those “Dirty MUD” mugs – what a fun collection! ☕🤣 And wow – now that’s what I call customer service: a whole year of coffee deliveries, one pound a month plus extra goodies from the TV provider? Yes please! 😎🙌
Sending love from Austria and happy T-Day! Traude 🌿 https://rostrose.blogspot.com/2025/07/musikalischer-juli-blogparade-urban.html
My eye went right to the heart jig saw puzzle, too! I pay every month to PBS, but not enough to get anything for free--lol! I do what I can, though. :)

Bleubeard and I welcome you
Art, including the journey, background techniques, sewing on both paper and fabric, new experiments, photos, failures, and successes will be shared on this site. I have removed my e-mail address until such time as I can get it to work again. Thank you for understanding. You can always leave a note on my blog and I will visit you.
Please check out my Previous Collaborations link above to see what projects I have been involved in over the past 12 years. Current and ongoing projects only are shown below.
Occasionally, Silent Sunday will showcase photos of my home, neighborhood, or community. A picture is often worth a thousand words.
Feelfree to drop by every second Thursday of the month for my Second Thursday Tutorials. They are interspersed with my other Tutorials found at the link page above.
Click on any lesson you might have missed or want to review
Click on the above image daily and help feed hungry dogs and cats. You can donate cat litter, too. You simply answer two questions (one about cats and one about dogs), and whether your answer is correct or not, you have just donated kibble to help feed both shelter animals and those in need.
I will create the art, critique things I feel are important, and put pen (and sometimes glue) to paper, or fingers to keys, while Bleubeard will mostly watch, supervise, or sleep.

Well done! I used to donate to PBS, as we watched it so much.
