Yesterday was my sweet boy Squiggles birthday.
Sandra Cox put her weekly word up for us to use in a sentence. The word was Fubsy. It means fat or overweight, flabby, etc. I told her that Squiggles was a good example unless I kept him on a diet. I told her I even had photos to prove it.
Here he is in his "fubsy" stage.
Since I spent so much time getting his birthday post together, and then spent his birthday snuggling with him, I really didn't prepare anything to share for Friday Smiles, hosted by Annie (at A Stitch in Time) and the other wonderful ladies who also share their smiles each Friday.
Therefore, I'm sharing a few of Squiggles' fat or overweight friends.
I hope you found something to smile about whether you have a cat (fat or fit) or not. Thanks for spending part of your Friday with us. Bleubeard, Squiggles, and I would love to see you at Friday Smiles, too.

Hi Elizabeth, it's great to see you and I hope you're keeping well. I guess cats get like this because they don't have to go hunting for food so don't get as much exercise but this lot make your Squiggles look slim. That is a brilliant collection of photos. I need to pop over and see what you're up to more often. Have a good weekend. Hugs Angela xXx
The fat cats made me smile. Poor Ronnie has not been well. He stopped eating and drinking while I was away. My friend had to take him to the vet. He got some treatment, but now I'm back he's still not eating well and vomits a lot. So I'll have to go back to the vet perhaps Monday.
You commented on my sister's car driving on the right side of the road. In Europe we all drive on the right side of the road. England is the exception. My sister lives in Spain so her car is 'normal'. it's her favorite colour. (turquoise).
Enjoy your weekend,
Lisca

Hello Elizabeth, it's been a while but your post has certainly made me smile, and chuckle and hoot with laughter. Those funnies are, well, very funny! your Squiggles' colouring is very similar to my Silver's. They could be siblings if there wasn't an ocean between them. Have a lovely weekend. Elizabeth & Silver xx
These were hilarious. The kitty not fitting on the scale looks like my Angel Kitty Belle. Have a glorious weekend, dear Elizabeth. Party down, Squiggles:)
these are some big boys and girls…the look on the cats face eatin salad
is priceless ‼️‼️😸😸💙
I read - and saw a The Simpsons-episode - on about dogs never know when they are "full" and keep eating as long as offered. Reckon cats are the same? Which is actually strange, their instinct should say "full> stop eating". Reckon it´s the same as if you put a bag of chips/crisps in front of me, LOL. Needs will-power to let go! (Hence I near to never buy it).
Those cats make my Allie look thin--lol! :)
