T Stands For Space

We are headed back to The Spice Merchant for my "free" pound of monthly coffee.

Before we head to space, here's a mug for all you cat lovers.  You know who you are (grin).

I love this mug because I love anything NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration).  No, I didn't buy the mug, but I considered doing so.

I've shown you mine, now it's time to share your own drink related post.  It can be photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink.  Regardless, please share below and Bleubeard and I will gladly visit, as will other T participants.  Please link only your T post and not your blog in general.  Bleubeard would like to remind you that old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year.  Please remember to visit your fellow T participants.

I realize I'm a week early, but this will give you ample time to dig up a favorite Second look on the 2nd.

I like space too. I find it amazing. I was listening to a podcast in the car and had to pull over and relisten when they said that the thinking now is that the energy for the Big Bang came from another galaxy dying, that last thrust in the Supa nova. My brain just started doing backflips trying to comprehend that. THAT'S what I love about space. It's so mind boggling, literally!

The happy cat in the first picture is a familiar character around Hawaii beckoning from cash registers and counters in businesses all around the islands. Aloha!

We had a relative who collected NASA space items. For a wedding present we actually found a Wedgwood plate with an image of the astronauts on the moon long long ago. Blue and white. In space suits. Best collectible ever!

So sad I gave the card to a neighbor! Years ago the postie rang my bell, if I am willing to take a parcel for a neighbor, he put a note in his mailbox that I have it. Nothing happened.
German mail had a card: "Houston, we have a parcel" - I used that to remind him his darn parcel is still waiting in our rather small condo. After months and running up, ringing the bell I but it in the cellar.
If I´d known about your passion I´d rather sent this to you.
What a waste... It was an ad 10 years ago...

Oh yes! I like that mug too: Houston, we have a problem. The scary thing is that I remember it. Not from the film (I never saw the film) but I remember space travel when it happened. What an exciting time that was. The time of the NASA, that was America at its best.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

Dear Elizabeth,
the mugs you show and their witty messages are interesting and worth a closer look! I’m afraid the issues currently facing the U.S. might not be easily fixed—even by Houston 😅—but I do my best to stay paw-sitive 😻...
From me, you’re getting a little mix of feline charm and T-Day flair today: our laid-back cat has made himself comfortable right in front of my inherited Augarten teapots 🐾☕😺.
Sending warm greetings from Austria and wishing you a cozy and creative week!
