T Stands For Frida Kahlo

On a recent trip to The Spice Merchant, these mugs caught my eye.

Who can resist Frida Kahlo?

Short and sweet this week.  I've shown you mine, now it's time to share your own drink related post.  It can be photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink.  Regardless, please share below and Bleubeard and I will gladly visit, as will other T participants.  Please link only your T post and not your blog in general.  Bleubeard would like to remind you that old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year.  Please remember to visit your fellow T participants. This link will be valid until 12 a.m. (my time) Tuesday, July 2.

Please don't forget to dig up your Second on the 2nd.  Any genre, any style, any length is acceptable as long as it has been published sometime in the past.

Hello, Elizabeth. I am back again! You sure find a lot more mugs at Spice Merchant than I did. They must have had a low supply when I was there. Happt last day of June. I will try to do the second on the second if I find a 4th of July one to incorporate. Hugs.

Frida Kahlo’s image is on all kinds of things. I’m not sure her art work really is remembered in the iconization of her persona. She had a lot of ideas that wouldn’t really be popular in today’s USA. She also suffered terribly from a very bad back injury.

Dear Elizabeth, it's great to see these beautiful mugs from an artist whose life story was difficult and whose work I adore.
All the best & happy T-Day,

Frida sure was an interesting, artistic, strong woman in a lot of pain... I found a wonderful mural in Perth depicting her.

How are you Elizabeth? A super short post could mean you are not well. I hope I'm wrong.
I have always been fascinated by Frieda Kahlo. She was way ahead of her time and ha suffered a lot during her life. Physically and also emotionally. Her art is very colourful and I quite like it.
I'll prepare a Second on the 2nd later today.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
