Today I'm joining Neet (whose blog is Hickydorums) at Art Journal Journey. Her theme is It must have wings.
This is my fairy godmother. She obviously has wings. The "security call" refers to the background, which consists entirely of security envelopes. Detail shots are below.

I started with pieces of four security envelopes, which I glued in place. I stamped wings from a dragonfly stamp, then fussy cut the wings. I glued them in place, then added the TH paper doll on top (second detail). I then computer generated the words and outlined them in black dye ink (first detail). I outlined the entire image using a black Posca pen, although the scanner cut the top off.
Thanks for dropping by today. I am thrilled you stopped by and hope to see you at Art Journal Journey and hopefully even share your own interpretation of It must have wings.

Sigh at the photoshop issues.
Love the background to your fairy godmother = and don't we all need one of them.
LOVELY response to the 'wings' prompt
much💛love
You are making good use of these security envelopes and doing some nice recycling with them. And I like your fairy godmother too. She looks like a good one. I miss Photoshop as I have a Chromebook and I have no way to get it onto my machine, unless Photoshop has gone where you can download a digital copy. They didn't as of last year, but I should look again.Enjoy your Sunday. hugs-Erika
...I have yet to try PhotoShop!
I use iPhoto.
It sounds like a memory problem. Have you tried emptying your cache? Just a thought.
What a brilliant idea to use the envelopes again for your background. They work so well and you have so many different patterns to use. The fairy godmother is perfect and I love her wings.
Sorry you are having problems with the program but I am useless when it comes to things like that. Thankfully I know a man who can!
Hugs and thanks for your latest entry.
